i just woke up and decided to check instagram and saw a ton of birthday posts! from my friends, fan accounts, and even walker posted! im hosting my party tonight and it starts at 7, so i have a lot of time. i decided to cut a mango for breakfast when i got a facetime call from landon.
"heyyyy birthday girl!" he said over the phone.
"hi landon!" i said taking a bite of my mango. "what's up?"
"nothing, me and maddy were texting last night and thought if it okay with you maybe we can come over and help you set up for your party tonight!" he said propping up his phone and pouring cereal into a bowl.
"oh my god that would be great! thank you guys, what time are you coming?" i asked.
"how does 4:30 sound? i can have my mom pick up panera before we get there!" he said, knowing panera was my favorite since i would always force him to get it with me when we hung out.
"yes!! do you remember my order?" i asked him, knowing what he would say.
"ceased salad with chicken and a strawberry smoothie!" we said in unison.
"how could i forget? you've been ordering the same thing since the day we met." he said laughing at me as he ate his cereal. "maddy calling me, see you at 4:30?"
"yup! thanks again landon, tell her i said hi!" i said hanging up the call when i got a text.

i was putting on chapstick when i heard a car honk outside. i looked out my window and saw mason so i ran out and hopped in the passenger seat.
"hey!" i said buckling the seatbelt.
"happy birthdayyyy!" he said passing me a small pink gift bag.
"you didn't have to get me anything!" i said smiling at him. "just kidding yes you did." i said as i watched him roll his eyes.
"just open the gift y/n, you don't want to be late to see walker!" he teased.
"shut up!" i said playfully shoving him. i opened the gift and started taking everything out of the bag. "a celsius, my favorite!" i said putting it in the cup holder. "and an 100 dollar starbucks gift card, you know me so well!" i said giving him a hug.
"i know i do, now let's go!" he said backing out of the driveway.
- TIME SKIP IM LAZY!! -
"hey guys!" i said opening my door as maddy and landon walked in.
"happy birthday y/n!" maddy said hugging me.
"thank you guys!" i said as landon handed me my food. "let's eat, then we can set up!"
"sure!" landon said. "so tell us everything, we haven't all hung out in forever!" he said getting forks from my kitchen.
"well, malachai sucks, you probably heard some variation of what happened there, and me and walker are finally back to how we used to be, an-"
"wait you guys like each other again!?" madeline yelled.
"woah woah woah i didn't say that!" i said defensively.
"you said your back to how you used to be, and we all know how you used to be," she said as landon laughed.
"well, i kinda like him i guess-"
"KNEW IT!" maddy yelled, causing landon to laugh again. "sorry, keep going."
"but he doesn't like me like that, that stuff is definitely over between us." i said taking a bite of my salad.
"whatever you say y/n!" landon said. "let's set up, we brought some decorations!"
we set up for the party and a few hours later i heard a knock at the door. "masons here!" maddy shouted.
