4. Superpowers?

AMANDA'S POV

I wake up the next morning, still in Chapa's arms. I try to get out of her grip but her grip on me gets more firm. I eventually give in and lay back down, I put my head on her chest and slowly drift off to sleep.

10:30 AM
Danger Force classroom

"Umm.. where are Chapa and Mandy?" Mika asks Ray. "I have no idea where Chapa is, but Mandy is probably in her room still asleep." Ray answers the dark brown haired girl. "Shouldn't she be awake by now?" Miles questions the only adult in the room. "She's just tired, let her sleep!" Ray said practically yelling. The three teens stood there confused of why he was acting like that.

Amanda's bedroom

Chapa slowly wakes up with me in her arms. She smiles at my sleeping body and kisses my forehead. She lays there waiting for me to wake up while playing with my hair. I slowly wake up to Chapa playing with my hair. I open my eyes and Chapa looks at me. "Morning." Chapa says. "Goodmorning." I say in a sleepy voice. I lift my head to look at my clock. My eyes widen and i jump out of bed. "IT'S 11 AM." I scream. "Jeez, you don't have to yell!" Chapa said. "You're supposed to be at the school!" I say freaking out. "Oh shit, i am!" Chapa says now also freaked out.

"Okay, we need to calm down you can borrow some clothes and get ready here. But what will you tell them!" I say as i go to my closet. I grab an outfit that suits her. I give it to her and she changes in my bathroom. She comes out and looks at me. "So, how do i look?" She asks me. "You look great now go!" I say in a rush. She leaves through the window. I get ready myself and go to the Man's Nest.

I see Schwoz work on something. "Hey Schwoz." I say. "Hey Mandy. Would you mind helping me with this?" Schwoz asks me, I reply with a simple nod. He tells me what to do and i simply follow his instructions. We finish after half and hour and i go eat something.

I go downstairs to the Danger Force classroom. I go inside and greet everyone. I go over to Chapa's desk and sit on it because i have no chair. "Hey." I said. "Hey." She said back. I was about to say something when Schwoz came bursting in. "Henry's on his way!" He kept saying. "So, that's good right?" I questioned. "No, it's not!" He said. "Why?" I asked. "Remember the machine you helped me finish?" He said, his voice full of worry. "Yes, I do. Schwoz what was that machine?" I said with a tone of worry in my voice. "That was a machine to communicate with the villians in Dystopia." He said quietly. I freaked out and left the room.

I go back to my room filled with anger and stress. I walked inside my room and the door slams shut. 'What!?' I thought to myself. I meant to slam the door shut but it closed behind me. I was scared. A train of thoughts racing through my head. 'What just happened!' 'Do i have superpowers?' I decided to try to lift something up without touching it (aka using telekenisis). I lift up a book that was on my desk. The book is now just floating in the air, I put the book back on the desk. Suddonly I hear a knock on my door.

The sound made me jump and scream, but it wasn't a normal scream. It was a sonic scream. I saw some posters on my wall fall of. "Wow sorry I didn't mean to scare you, and are you okay?" Chapa said. "That's okay! Ow and I'm fine." I said hoping that she'll leave. "If you say so!" She says just then i hear footsteps which means she's leaving. Just great, I have superpowers wow. But should I tell them? Should i keep it a secret? I'm gonna keep it a secret for now. I was still a bit stressed at the machine that schwoz made. I started overthinking and than a bolt flew at my wall. 'What that to, seriously!' I thought to myself. I started thinking about it, I have the powers of all the Danger Force members well except for Miles. Maybe i should try to teleport. Without thinking i throw my fist in the air. Suddonly I'm in the supply closet. I throw my fist in th air again and teleport back to my bedroom. I tried some other things and made a list of all my superpowers.

-Electric manipulation
-teleportation
-element control
-Super speed

My strongest power is the elements. I decided to talk to Schwoz about my powers. I go to the Man's Nest and i see Danger Force, my dad, Schwoz and Henry. They all turn to me. I look at the paper in my hand and shove in the back pocket of my jeans.

CHAPA'S POV

Amanda comes in and we all turn to look at her. She look at the paper in her hands and then shoves it in her back pocket. I wonder what's written on there. "Hey, Peach!" Henry said with a smile on his face. I glared at him with a look of jealousy. I didn't know why i was jealous tho. I brushed it off as Henry continued to speak. "Schwoz told me what happened and that you were freaked out." "He did?" She spoke glaring at Schwoz. "Yep, anyways I thought maybe we could get some smoothies. Just the two of us." Henry said. Amanda agreed and they then left.

AMANDA'S POV

We went to get smoothies and had a really good time. I almost forgot I had superpowers but I decided not to tell Henry because he can't keep secrets. He brought me back to the Man's Nest and once he left i decided to go talk to Schwoz. "Schwoz, can we talk?" I asked as everyone had left the Man's Nest. "Sure hun, what's up?" He said in his usual accent. "Umm before i say anything, you promise you won't tell anybody? Not even dad." I said sitting on the round couch. "I promise." He said sitting on the opposite side of me.

"I have superpowers..." i spoke slowly waiting for his reaction. His eyes widen and he said. "Are you sure?" "I can show you if you want. I made a list." I said taking the paper out of my pocket. I handed it to him and he opened it carefully. He examend the list. "So you have the powers of Danger force and element control?" He asked me. "Yes and that is also my strongest power." I said. "But with elements you mean the main ones or ALL the elements?" He asked me. "All of them." I replied. We talked a bit more and i showed him my powers. He agreed to build a secret training room for me.

I go to my room and get ready to go to bed. I get i my bed and check my phone. I put my phone away and try to go to sleep but i can't. I thought about today. I thought about the fact that i saw Chapa glare at Henry when he spoke to me today.

CHAPA'S POV

I lay in my bed but i can't stop thinking about last night. She was really open with me and i was glad that she trusts me, and we cuddled. I freaked out but played it cool. I just cant stop thinking about her. I try to brush it off but i just can't. Jesus what is going on with me. I didn't sleep and I just thought about everything.

This took me a very long time to make and i am really proud of this
