Sometimes life doesn't work exactly the way you planned. Even after 2 years of loosing his mate Jungkook he still refused to accept that Diana was gone for good. He still felt her presence everywhere in the house. It was only natural that he would feel this way after 2 years of missing her, but Jungkook didn't know how long he'd have to wait before her scent no longer clung to everything. He still hoped there would still be a chance that it had all been part of some kind of sick prank.
"Yo Jungkook it's time to bathe... I ran you a-"
"I just bathed yesterday do I need to do it again?" Kai rolled her eyes "Jungkook you need to bathe every day" She crossed the room picking up Jungkook's discarded hoodie from yesterday. Kai had taken it upon herself to look after Jungkook after Diana's death. Jungkook has never been a huge fan of Kai so they always clashed.
"You loved Diana didn't you?" Seated in the wheeling chair Jungkook asks eying Kai cautiously.
"Of course I loved her, she was my best friend" Kai responded without hesitation.
"Y'know I smell your lies right?," The pained and bitter beta growled. Jungkook stood from the wheeling chair making his way to Kai. "You! We're in love with Diana, that's why you suddenly disappeared on her am I right?" Jungkook's extremely long hair brushes across his face covering one of his dark eyes.
"Y-You're wrong" Jungkook scoffs shoving her to the side before walking into the bathroom.
A knock on the door snaps Kai out of her dazed state. She blinks quickly realizing that someone was knocking at Jungkook's door.
Namjoon comes in with his hands inside his pants pocket "Where's Jungkook?"
"In the bathroom" Kai answers. Namjoon nods "Someone is here to see him" Kai looks at the bathroom door. "I'll tell him once he's out" The alpha walks out leaving behind a bewildered Kai.
She shakes her head and begins to pick up Jungkook's clothes scattered all over the place.
"I don't want to see anyone, especially her" Kai sighs in defeat.
"Just see her once"
"What exactly does she have to say, apologize for killing her own daughter? Laura has always been a monster and I don't want to have anything to do with a monster" Jungkook's voice trembles slightly "Ask her to leave, her scent sickens me"
"Jungkook I don't think this is a good idea" Jimin whines as Jungkook speeds through the night like his life depended on it.
"I don't know what's going on.... can someone tell me why I saw kidnapped by you guys?" Kai grumbles from the back seat earning a glare from Jungkook through the rearview mirror.
"Look Killian told you it's too risky, why don't you just let everything go-" The abrupt stop of the car jerks everyone forward.
"Let everything go?!" Jungkook shouts "Jimin you don't even have your mate yet, so I don't expect you to know how it feels to lose one" His words hit hard but there was nothing else jimin could say because Jungkook was right.
"We're bringing Diana back to life....Killian and his witch fuck buddy will help us no matter the cost"
