Ranpo quickly got ready for work, asking Poe Poe if he'd like to join him. Poe politely declines and tells Ranpo he has to run errands. Ranpo understood and headed off to work. On the way he couldn't help but think about what had happened last night, he wondered why his shirt was basically off and Poe's pants where revealing more than needed. Ranpo blushed now knowing how he truly felt about Poe, feeling safer around him than anyone else. Ranpo arrived at the agency hopping no one would comment on the matter of him and Poe. He stepped one foot inside the office and was instantly flooded with questions. "Where's your tall rich boyfriend" Dazai shouted. "Awe they where so cute together" Naomi whispers to yosano. Kyouka just stared at Ranpo causing him to sweat a little. After everyone calmed down Dazai did come over to him and asked if they where dating or even if Ranpo liked him. Ranpo turned away in a panic but made himself even more suspicious. Dazai in an annoying tone asked if they did anything "naughty" which caught Ranpo's attention making him spin his head around and shout "NO IMBECILE!" Dazai was taken a back my his words and he only grew more curios by the defensiveness.
Ranpo let out a bored sigh knowing he'd be here long but no jobs to go on. Ranpo had been so busy with Poe he'd been eating less snacks that usual so he decided today would be a good day to eat to his heart's content. As Ranpo shoved his face full of snacks Fukuzawa came up to him and asked to see him in his office. Ranpo gulped down the food that was in his mouth as sweat dropped down his face. When Ranpo took a seat in the office Fukuzawa asked if the rumors he had been hearing about Poe and Ranpo saying where true. Ranpo replied with " no sir." Looking down. Fukuzawa told Ranpo he was fine with it as long Poe talked it out with him first. Ranpo seemed a bit embarrassed but overall denying everything about it. Fukuzawa gave up on the matter and dismissed him home.
When walking home Ranpo stopped by a flower shop looking for Poe's favorite flowers but since they are so rare and only in season for a short while he couldn't find anything. He walked back home which he now considers to be Poe's house. All he can think about is Poe and how he should greet him. With a hug, with peck on the cheek or maybe a tackle? Who knows really. But he did make it home and ran straight up to poe's room where he was writing his novel. Ranpo grabbed Poe's shoulders and basically sat in Poe's lap reading what he had been writing. Poe squirmed a bit before asking Ranpo why he had chosen that way to greet him. Ranpo told him "I don't know sounded fun" Poe sighed knowing full well Ranpo is trying to tease him.
Ranpo asked Poe he could borrow some shorts since it would be pretty hot tonight, Poe obliged and lended him what he wanted. Ranpo got changed quickly in the bathroom and came back out to see Poe with his pajamas on as well. Ranpo said he was going to bed and that he was tired from all these questions people where asking him today at work. Poe asked what where they asking. Ranpo smirked telling Poe they where asking if we where dating. Poe's face went as red as a tomato Ranpo laughed and told Poe he was only joking. Poe let out a sigh but not of relief of sadness that they weren't dating.
Ranpo took off his shirt to sleep which Poe was surprised by and blushed as he saw Ranpo topless. Ranpo looked confused as to why Poe turned away so quickly so he asked. Poe told him that he just wasn't expecting it was all. Ranpo smiled again and Poe knew that look. Ranpo got up, walked over to Poe and whispered "oh is that how you feel about it then" Poe pulled away only for Ranpo to get even closer making a sad face as to guilt trip Poe into feeling like he said something wrong.
Poe got into bed before Ranpo even though Ranpo said he was tired first. Poe fell asleep before Ranpo got the chance to tease him more. Ranpo curled into Poe's outstretched arm and hugged Poe till he also fell asleep. Poe couldn't help but think of what Ranpo said and if he was teasing or actually wanted to be more than just friends. Ranpo while sleeping accidentally rolled on top of Poe's chest and stayed there until morning. Poe soon awakened to him holding Ranpo while Ranpo was laying on top of him. Poe blushed at the sight of shirtless Ranpo laying on top of him and decided to sleep in just a little bit more but before doing so he kissed Ranpo's forehead making himself blush.
Ranpo soon woke up while he was on Poe's chest and forgot that he was shirtless Ranpo rushed to get up and to put on a shirt before getting back in bed with Poe. When Poe woke up for the second time he was a little disappointed to see Ranpo wearing a shirt again. Ranpo asked if he was awake yet and said "sorry for not warning you about the shirtless thing" Poe forgave him looking away flustered and reminded himself of how he kissed his forehead.

I low key think I'm gonna restart again I keep repeating the same concept through out the story and jumping in too quickly so I might as well yk but these story's have improved my writing so if I restart the next one you know why
