Most of true fusion were already at the meeting place, they were just waiting for Diren and Terrance. 'Figures it'd be them' thought Xander. Despite having jobs that required maturity, those two were the most immature people in the team. Always getting themselves in trouble. He could picture it now: Diren holding a SS member up by his feet and Terrance taking something important, like his wallet or his ID. Just a moment later, Xander's fears were realised.... And expanded upon. The two of them drive in, on a duel runner with a sidecar on it. Diren driving and Terrance in the sidecar messing with his Tablet, both dressed in full SS uniform. They stopped and hopped out, also with SS duel disks strapped to their belts. "So?" Started Diren. Terrance continued "What d'ya think?" Xander facepalmed. "Are you guys serious? I know you do dumb s**t but this is definitely-" He stopped to think for a moment. "In the top eight." Diren nervously rubbed the back of his head, knowing full well he won't see the light of day again if he says the wrong thing. "Well we.... Uh..... thought they might be useful!" Xander was silent. 'It will be useful... but he definitely just thought of that on the spot'. Xander decided to let them off the hook for now, and take advantage of their immaturity. Xander thought for a moment, to calculate the next move. "If we want to work to the best of our abilities, we're gonna need to get a connection to the main security grid." He looked over to Diren and Terrance with a smirk. "And you two are our way in." They both looked half-confused, half-terrified and they collectively thought 'We shouldn't have done this.'
|Later|
Diren and Terrance were back in the bike, heading towards the SS headquarters. The plan was that while Xander, Apollo, Lysander and James made a distraction, they would head to the headquarters and give them access to the security grid. Ryan would stay put and use what connection to security they have to keep both groups as safe as possible and plan routes for them, open doors etc.. Usually this was terrance's job but going was his punishment for being immature. As they drive to the entrance, a guard stops them. "ID please." Diren handed over his stolen ID and the guard scanned it. Ryan quickly uploaded fake information to replace the Original Guard's ID. After a moment the Guard passes the ID back. "Proceed." Diren smiled and put his thumb up as the bar rose and he drove through. Terrance's nerves were off the hook. He had never gone on a mission like this before. He was the guy in the chair, he wasn't built for stealth, silence or close combat when it came to it. Diren noticed and lightly patted his shoulder with a smile, slightly reassuring Terrance. Diren parked and they both got out and started walking into the headquarters. It was huge. They had no clue how they'd find somewhere they could do what they needed to do. But they had to find somewhere and they were only smart enough to ask at one place: the reception desk. They both walk straight up to it and Diren tries to act Suave and a bit flirty to try to get the receptionist's attention, he was a ladies man after all. "Hey~ Could you tell me where the closest place with access to the central grid is?" The receptionist looked up suspiciously "it's important." He said with a wink. She immediately looked back at her computer. "Third floor computer room. Don't try flirting with any one else, we're very serious here newbie." That last sentence shot through Diren's pride like a bullet, but Terrance lightly dragged him away and began to head to the third floor. "Guess you lost your touch eh?" Joked Terrance. Diren remained silent, part out of embarrassment part... something else that Terrance didn't know. "What's wrong Diren? I know something's up." Terrance had a good eye for this stuff. Diren looked at him sadly "I used to be able to get any woman with a word, most of the time by accident. But after duel academy, it's been so long I lost that ability. It was pretty much a part of who I was but now......" Terrance understood what he meant. They'd been fighting a meaningless battle for so long that they lost certain pieces of their personalities. Well for Xander, it was more than just a piece..... "When we win and everything goes back to normal, I'll help you. We can practice together." Diren chuckled slightly. The thought of Terrance even attempting to talk to a lady was hilarious. "I think one of us is going to be doing more practice than the other but sure." Terrance blushed in embarrassment and put his fingers to his ear. "We're approaching our location, you guys start when ready."
