♫ | Life is made of unexpected meetings and mismatches, of unreal love, of loneliness, of luck and bad luck, of smiles and sincere laughter, sunny days and lost glances, cries for help, a silent goodbye... From a tormented soul.
He's just like me...

𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒆, in light of the misery that was the end of last night, I woke up in slightly less of a bad mood than usual. I'm unsure whether it was because I fell into a deep sleep as soon as I found myself lying in bed or the fact that, miraculously, Dove fell asleep in the morning and missed her gym appointment.
In other words, thank the gods she didn't wake me up at dawn today.
In fact, it was the other way around.
When I woke up at eight o'clock and found her still asleep, I woke her up.
Completely desperate and grumbling, she got up, got dressed, and left the room with a ponytail all messed up on top of her head. Dove didn't find it at all funny that I laughed at her, but that didn't stop me from laughing out loud at her sloppy and completely out of sorts appearance.
I think she had quite a hangover.
Anyway, this good humor goes out the window when, ready for the second day of classes, I open the bedroom door and find a tray lying on the hallway carpet.

This tray, which besides having a mini glass jar with a white daisy, also has a sandwich cut into two triangles and a glass of orange juice. I deduce from the presence of ice cubes floating on top of the juice glass that it has not been long since it was left there.
Initially, I frown, because surely the person had the wrong room. However, as I crouch down, I notice a small piece of paper that contains written, in one of the verses and in a scrawled and almost indecipherable handwriting, my name.
Before I read what the note contains, certain that it is Michael's doing, I pick up the tray and set it down on my desk.
My whole body, like the night before, tenses up as my eyes and brain work to interpret that unexpected note, to say the least.
My intention was not for the little flower to get upset over a sandwich, so I made one for you today. I hope you like peanut butter with strawberry jam.
