You walk through the cold forest of The Knee. This is where you live with your mother. In a simple, comfortable little home on the peak.
You pad through the snow lined ground where the trees roam high. You look up, seeing snowflakes drizzle down on your face. You smile and head down towards the town market.
After a long walk, you made it and head to the meat stand and crop stand. You pay for some food and take a stroll through town to see anything new. Of course, Eda has her illegal stand up so you go over to visit your friend.
"Heya Eda! What's new!" You say putting your elbow on the table with a grin. She sighs and looks at you. "Well kid, Luz stuck a yellow duck thing down the sink and king is trying to rule the playground." She smirks and looks at you.
"What's new with you y/n. Mom's good?" You shake your head. "Yeah, nothing new. Mum is fine, she's been cooking a bunch."
Eda shakes her head. "Good to hear." You wave your hand and say bye, but she stops you before walking away.
"Hey y/n wait! Come here real quick!"
You walk back over to her stand with a face of confusion. "What? What's up Eda?"
She leans in close to you with a face of unnerve and suspicion.
"I've uh.. I've heard the guards are going near The Knee. Seems you and your mum heightened suspicions with the emperor. So... just be careful kid." I looked at her understandably. "Ok, thanks for the info Eda. See ya!"
I walked through the town and to the mountains of The Knee, all the way to my home. I walked through the door and was greeted with many kisses from my mom. "Oh honey, how was the trip? Here come try my elephoo pie I made!" She dragged you through the house and to the kitchen, sitting you down and sliding down a plate of pie.
Honestly, it looked great! Another work of magic by my lovely mother! I dug into the pie with a smile of satisfaction. "Oh that's the best so far mum!" She grinned and looked at your bag of food.
"Ah, I'll take that!" She grabbed the bag and put it away. "S-Say mum... I heard some news from Eda." You, with a serious and grave tone, informed your mother of what Eda told you.
Her smiled faded a bit and she shook her head. "Ok, we'll have to watch out then."
She walked away and cleaned up plates. You walked upstairs to your room and climbed to your hammock. You sighed. Today had been a long day!
Over the next few days, I have seen the emperor's guards scouting The Knee. They must know we are somewhere. I just feel bad. I was the one who did things to make the emperor mad, not my mom. I just want here to be safe!
But anyways, they have been coming closer and closer near our house scouting that one day I found them in our woods! I couldn't and wouldn't allow this!
I peeked behind a tree at the group of guards searching through the area. This poked an anger in me and I got very angry. How dare they come near me and my mother! I won't let them get any farther than this!
I walk out from my hiding spot and my eyes glow an unsettling red. My veins course with hate and anger. I won't let these monsters get near my mother. Never!
"Don't move."
"It's the y/n l/n! The empire is after her!"
"Get her!"
"You are under arrest!"
I heard all these catchline remarks and they only made me angrier. They got in their stance and dashed towards me. Just before impact, I turned into my cursed self. The amarok.

They all gasped and tried to run. But there was only bloodshed. Underneath my paws, I gored the ground with red. It was drenched in the snow. I looked up from the destruction and turned back to myself.
I looked at the mess I had created. Oh what a pity, now I need to clean it up! I put my hand out and made it all disappear and reappear near the beaches across the island. Let's hope it doesn't land on anyone... hehe.
I sighed and headed back home. At least my mom and I were safe... for now at least..
