You slowly opened your eyes and looked around. You were very warm and found a blanket on you and Hunter sleeping right next to your legs. Just then you noticed you were on HIS bed.
You freaked out and tried fleeing, resulting in you falling on the floor face first. It made a loud thud and made Hunter wake up.
He glanced over at you trying to stand and took in his surroundings. He ran over to you, aiding you in standing up.
"H-Hey I don't need your help!"
He continued helping you and not listening.
"Yeah well you can't stand so I'm gonna help anyways." He remarked.
You just grumbled as he placed you on his bed and looked over you. Hunter kneeled down and slapped your leg.
"Hey!"
He seemed in a daze trying to find out why you can't stand.
That's when you realized, you couldn't feel the slap. You couldn't even feel your legs!
You panicked and kept poking your legs. Tears pricked at your eyes as fear fell over you.
"No no no no!"
He saw you panicking and grabbed your hands.
"Stop! It'll be okay just give them a few hours. The blood hasn't regenerated."
You calmed down and wiped your puffy eyes from crying. The felt really sad and fearful right now.
Almost instantly, he embraced you in a comforting hug. Your eyes went wide for a moment then softened. You laid your head on his shoulder and cried your feelings out. He rubbed gentle circles on your back and said comforting things.
"It's gonna be okay."
He backed up and held onto your shoulders.
"Your tough okay! You can do this!"
You sniffled and your face turned to confidence. You nodded your head and he let go.
"Yeah sure buttworm. So are you saying your not tough?"
He looked token back and chuckled.
"No I'm tough! I have more strength in my one arm than your whole body shrimp!"
You scoffed and punched him in the shoulder, making him fake fall on the floor dead. You both laughed before a knock was heard on the door.
"GG, emperor requests your presence!" Kikimora said through the door.
Hunter got up and looked over at you, then the door. He did an exaggerated sigh and stood, walking over to the door and opening it.
"I'll be back soon, don't get into mischief you dumbo."
You giggled and his face fled with blush. Your giggle was adorable. He felt like he was filled with butterflies and was a fluffy cloud.
"Mhmmmm!"
He smiled and went out of the room, leaving you alone.
This kid wasn't actually bad. Honestly, he was kinda cute......
