Chapter 4: Training #2

After Nikki was done, It was Ace’s turn. I was curious about Ace and Molly’s powers since we just met, and we didn’t get to see their powers. Ace walked to the end of the circle. “You don’t have a suit, do you?” Jack asked. “No,” Ace answered. “Ok” Jack said, “Let me see what you’ve got so I can see what kind of suit you need” “Ok” Ace said. “And go!” Jack said. Then, Ace stood there, and a pair of huge black wings came out of his back. All of our jaws dropped. He flew up and said: “Come on, Jack! You can fly, right?” Jack grinned and grew his own pair of wings and flew up to Ace. Then, Ace pointed his wings at Jack, and his feathers flew out, and they turned to sharp points of metal, and one of them grazed one of Jack’s cheeks. Then Jack flew over to Ace and tried to slash him with his sword, but Ace dodged and punched Jack in the face, which sent Jack crashing into the ground. “Holy crap!” I said. Ace flew to the ground and helped Jack up. “I'm so sorry! I should have gone easier.''''No! No!! That was beautiful! Keep it up!” Jack said. Ace smiled and went back to us. “Ok! Now it’s Molly’s turn” Jack said. Molly went to the end of the circle. “You don’t have a suit either,” Jack said. “Yeah,” Molly said. “So…what’s your purple eyed spirit?” Jack asked. “I know it’s not super cool but… Mine is a fish” Molly said. “That’s cool!” Jack said. “Ok… Show me what you got!” “Ok! But I haven’t really used my powers as much as all of you guys” Molly said. “That’s fine! Just show me what you have right now, and we’ll work on it!” Jack said, smiling. “Go!” Molly ran up to Jack, and a whole wave appeared in her hand, and it nealrly drowned Jack. He was soaked, and his eyes were wide. “I'm sorry!!” Molly said. “Don’t be sorry! That’s what I want you to do!” Jack said. “Come on!!” Molly put her arms wide at her sides and put them up. “Water tornado!” She yelled. Then HUGE water waves circled and came for Jack, and he tried to run, but it caught him and knocked him on the ground. “Wow!!” Ash said. Then, Molly ran over to Jack and helped him up. “Great job, Molly!” Jack said. When he got dried off, it was finally my turn. I walked to the end of the circle and changed into my costume. “Alright Issac… Let’s see if you can beat me” Jack said while grinning. “I will,” I said. “Go!” Jack yelled. He ran up to me and slashed his sword, but I got out my scythe just in time and blocked it with the big blade. I pushed his sword with my scythe and got it off. I kept trying to slash him, and I missed multiple times, and this kept happening until I ran with my fast speed, I circled around Jack. He looked dizzy, trying to follow me. Then, I jumped out and pinned Jack down, and I grabbed his hair and pulled his head up, and put my scythe close to his neck. I let go, and I stood up and helped him up. “Wow…I did not expect that!” Jack said. I smiled, “I told you '' I said as I went back to my seat. I knew Jack was holding back by a lot. He was holding back for all of us. We trained for months and we all got better each day… Nikki can heal a human in 9 seconds, Ash is better at her sword work and controlling her spirit, Edward is getting way better at controlling his flames, Molly is getting even more powerful, Ace is getting better at flying and learning some new abilities, and I am getting better at working with my scythe and the acid that comes out. Ace and Molly’s spirits are already controlled, but I’ll tell you how Ash got control of her spirit.

We all sat down on the ground while Ash and Jack stood across from each other at each end of the circle. “You ready, Ash?” He asked. Ash nodded and closed her eyes. “Think of something that makes you really mad,” Jack said. It took a few minutes, but then, she opened her eyes, and the pupils were slits and her tail and ears popped out. Then, she started to growl a little and circled around the circle, and Jack followed her every move, so he knew when to expect her to come. Suddenly, she lunged forward with only one sword in her hand, and Jack blocked it with his sword. “You got this, Ash! Fight it!” He said. “You can do this, Ash!!” Nikki yelled as she stood up. “Be strong!” Edward stood up and yelled as well. Molly and Ace also stood up and both yelled, “Let’s go!” Then I stood up, “I believe in you! I know you're strong enough!” I yelled. Then, she backed up a little and dropped her sword. She grasped her hair and started to yell in her normal voice, and it kept switching back and forth to her yelling and the spirit’s. After a few minutes of yelling, it stopped and
her arms dropped down and dangled by her side while her head was down. “Ash?” Jack said. Then she looked up and still had slits in her eyes and sharp teeth, but she seemed normal. “You okay?” Jack asked. Ash blinked and looked at her hands, “I think so” She said. We all breathed a sigh of relief. “Great job” Jack said while his hand was on his heart. After that, she trained to keep it in control, and it seemed okay. Then, one day, Jack surprised us. “Hello everyone!” Jack said. “I wanted to tell you guys that you are ready to fight some robots!” “Really?!” Molly said excitedly. “Finally!!!” Ash said. “But before you all get in on all of the action, I have another surprise for you guys' ' Jack said. We all looked at him in confusion. “Since you guys have gotten better at your fighting skills… you get new costumes…think of it as leveling up.'' We looked at each other in shock and started smiling. “Yay!” Molly said. “We’re going one at a time…" Edward is first, "Jack said. Edward smiled and walked up to him. “Go on and do your normal thing” Jack said. Edward put his finger out in front of him and drew a circle, and wind blew over his face, and his new costume looked way different than before! “Wow! I like it!” Edward said. “Now try to use your fire power,” Jack said. Edward put his hands out, and a blast of fire came from his palms, and it was HUGE! We all squinted our eyes at how hot it was. When it was over, Edward looked at his hands in shock. “See? You leveled up!” Jack said. Edward smiled and went back to us. “Alright Ash!” Jack said excitedly. Ash walked up to Jack. “My own cat is giving me a costume..hahaha” She laughed. Ash did her normal thing and pulled out her metal stick, and drew the circle on the ground . The wind blew over us, and her costume was really different as well! We all went one by one, and Molly and Ace got their costumes, and we all looked great. My scythe got a new style, and the acidvwas even more deadly for the robots. We all tried out our powers, and by the time we were done, it was 10 o'clock at night! We all sat down as Jack talked with us. “There are names for your style of fighting, Ash, Molly, and Ace are purple eyed fighters. Edward is a flame user, Nikki is a healer, and Issac is a scythe holder.” “Alright” I said. “We have school tomorrow” “Yeah you’re right” Edward said. “Let’s go,” Ash said. Molly went with Ash to her house, and Ace stayed at Edward’s. I finally got home, and I opened the door, and Aiden was right there. “Where have you been?!!” He said. Then he went silent with shock with his mouth wide open. Then I realized that I had forgotten to change out of my costume! “Oh shoot!” I said. “No!!!!!” Aiden said. “Don't change back!!!” “Huh?” I said. “I’ve never seen it before!!!! It’s so cool” Aiden said happily. “Thanks” I said, smiling. The next day was Monday, and I was exhausted and sore from all that training, and when I went to school, we had a test. During the test, I was very focused on my it and Ash sat next to me and she dropped her pencil and I went to go and pick it up but she pulled me down and she sounded serious. “I need you to look at the front of the room” She whispered. “O-ok” I said. Then I sat up, and I looked to the front of the room to see…Tashken. My mouth dropped, and my eyes widened. “I thought I killed him!” I thought. “Alright everyone!” The teacher said, “Take a break from your test and look up here! This is the principal from two years ago, Mr.Reminmen! He was so kind as to pay us a visit today!” She said, I just sat there in shock, and then I looked over to Ash, who had a shocked look on her face as I did. Then he looked at me and grinned. After a long day, it was finally after school, and we told Edward, Molly, Nikki, and Ace everything. “What the heck?!” Edward said. “Who’s Tashken?” Molly asked. “He’s the first robot that gave us a problem” I said. “Oh crap” Nikki said. “That’s bad,” Ace said. We walked a few blocks, and we turned around a corner, and Tashken was there. We all jumped. “Hello again guys… You’ve all grown up!” He said. We stayed silent for a minute, and I jammed my fists in my pockets. “How did you come back?” I said with my head down. “Why, the great Lord Migas brought me back! You didn’t kill me all the way, my dear Issac” He said, peering down at me. “How about we fight again? Let’s see if you got stronger” I looked down for a moment and looked up at him with a grin on my face, “Sure” I said. Edward looked at me wide-eyed, “Issac, are you crazy?!” “Or are you a dumbass?!” Ash said. “I guess I'm both,” I said, “Oh! Ashley and Edward! It's so good to see you both!” Tashken said. “Can’t say the same about you” Ash said. “Oooo feisty!” Tashken said. As I said, the next day after school, We went to the woods and got ready to fight.
