Chapter 10: The Defeat of Lord Migas (Pt 1)

Hey, yall! Sorry for not posting for a while! I've been busy with school because of the state test and some finals 🙃 This will be the last chapter of this book, and I will be shortening it for 2 parts because it is very long but please enjoy! ❤️

We walked to the hot dog shop and stood in front of it for a while, and then we made a plan. Ash, Nikki, and I were going to the basement one way, and Edward, Ace, and Molly were going another way. We all put our hands in the middle of the group. “Don’t die, guys” I said. “We won't,” Molly said. “Break!” I yelled as we all split up into our teams. We were about to walk down the stairs when Jack hopped off of Ash’s shoulder and hopped onto mine. “Jeez!” I said. “Remember what we trained for,” Jack said. I nodded my head, “I got it” He jumped off of my shoulder and turned into a human. We got into the basement, and it was so dark that I couldn’t see a thing. “Issac? Ash!” Nikki yelled. “Yeah?” Ash said. “Where are you guys?” Nikki asked. “We’re right here” Jack said, grabbing Nikki’s arm and mine. “Just hold onto Ash,” He said. “Why?” I asked. “She can see in the dark” “Really?!” Nikki said. “Duh! I have cat’s eye, I can see really well in the dark” Ash said. “Cool!” I said. We were walking for a while when a lot of lights came on. The place we were in didn’t even look like the basement. “Where the hell are we?” I said. “I don’t know,” Jack said. He didn’t say anything about me swearing, which surprised me. Just then, Edward, Ace, and Molly came running towards us. “Guys!” Edward yelled. “Where are we?!” “We don’t know!” Nikki said. Then, I heard my name, “Issac!” I gasped and looked everywhere, and my eyes met my little brother in a glass tube that was in the air. “What.The.HELL?!” I yelled. He was pounding on the glass and was yelling for me, but it was faint. Then, my parents came in separate tubes, and my eyes widened, then came Ash’s parents and sister. I looked at her, and her face was shocked. Edward’s grandma came next, and then Nikki’s aunt and parents and her three siblings, she looked mad and scared at the same time. Then came two more people that I didn’t know, but they looked just like Molly, so I assumed they were her parents. I looked over at her, and she looked scared out of her mind. Then came some kids our age, and Ace clenched his teeth. But the one that shocked me the most was the scariest, Ash’s real dad came in another glass tube, and he looked depressed. I knew it was her real dad because Ash had shown me a picture of him when we were in 5th grade. I looked at Ash, and she looked beyond terrified. “W-What t-the hell” Ash quivered. “Ash…It’s gonna be okay” I said as I put both of my hands on her shoulders. Her eyes had no glare in them, and it scared me. “Ash?” Edward said. “You alright?” “That’s her real father,” I said. Edward looked up at him with anger in his eyes. Then another girl came that looked like our age and Ash looked even more shocked, “M-Marice” She said. The girl looked at her, and her eyes went wide, “Ashley?!” She said, “Who’s that?” I asked. “That’s the girl that used to bully me in my old school,” Ash said. My eyes widened, and I was mad. “I’ve been expecting you” I heard a familiar voice say. We all turned around quickly, and there he was, Lord Migas. “What the hell is this?!” I said. “Oh just a little experiment…Since you guys killed all of my other carbos, I've wanted to make more, and they seem like perfect subjects” Migas said. “Go to hell” I said. He just laughed and raised his hand, and one of the glass tubes came down, and it was above a huge pool of liquid carbon. The person inside the tube was Ash’s dad. The tube slowly came down near the pool, and Lord Migas laughed. “I don’t think Ashley would mind if her real dad died! Don’t you?” He said. I looked over at Ash, and her head was down, and both of her fists were clenched. “NO!!! PLEASE, ASHLEY! HELP YOUR OLD MAN OUT!” Her dad said. I was so focused on the tube that I didn’t even notice Ash. “Wow! What a heartless child” Lord Migas said as his hand lowered. Then I heard footsteps, and it was Ash. She was running towards Lord Migas. She took one of her swords out and jumped high, and sliced off one of his arms. The tube stopped lowering, and Ash twirled her sword and put it back into the sheath. Lord Migas’s eyes widened a bit. She was still facing the other way when she turned around and started walking back to us. Her father had a sigh of relief when he said: “Thank you so much! You really helped your father out!” Ash stopped and forcefully turned around to face him, “You are not my dad, nor my father so quit acting like you are…If I weren’t fighting for this whole town…I would’ve let him kill you. I don’t want to see your face again.” She said and returned back to us. “Hahahaha” Lord Migas laughed. “My, my, what a feisty one!” He said while his arm grew back. I took my jacket off, threw it to the side, and stepped forward. “Why don’t you quit standing there and fight me!” I said. “How lovely,” He said. I took my scythe out from my back and thought, “This is it Issac…You can’t lose now” He started running at me, and I took one step, and I was near him. I swung my scythe at him, but he blocked it with his arms above his head. I let go and slid back, I went after him again, and he was the only robot that didn’t use anything. Only his hands, for now. I kept slashing at him, but he kept on smiling and taking it. Then, he raised his hand and said, “HEATHS!” And an army of heaths covered the room, and that was for my friends to handle, and they immediately started fighting them so they wouldn’t get in the way of me and Migas. Then I smiled, “ED!” I yelled, and then I backed up to slash a heath. Then Edward came by me, and I high fived him as he jumped off of a wall and pinned down Lord Migas with his fire. “Hell yeah!” I said. Edward kept punching him with fire, and he did get hit a couple of times by Migas, but that didn’t stop him. Then he said, “Ash! It's your turn!” “Damn right it is,” She said as she ran to him. She started slashing him, and something felt off. “Hold on a minute…” I mumbled. Then it hit me. It was surprisingly easy to hit Lord Migas, which could only mean that the Lord Migas Ash was fighting wasn’t him…It was a clone.“ASH! That’s not him!” I yelled as a heath pounced on me. “What?!” Ash said as she slashed it, and it faded away. Then I turned to the heath I was fighting, and it slowly morphed into Lord Migas. “Boo,” He said. “SHI-!” I yelled as he pinned me down. He covered my mouth, and I squirmed around, trying to get out of his grip. “Calm down,” He said. Then I heard footsteps coming towards us, and it was Edward trying to punch him. But with one swing, Lord Migas punched him, and Edward flew across the room. Lord Migas held me up by the collar and a sword came out of his arm and he threw me across the room and as I landed onto the wall, the sword pierced the middle of my stomach until the end jammed into the wall. “Ach” I coughed. “ISSAC!” Molly yelled. “DAMMIT!” Ash yelled as she took out her other sword and swung it towards Migas’s head, but he took both of her swords and spinned her around and threw her, and she hit the wall too They were all trying to keep him away from me, even Jack. “Go help him, Nikki!” Jack said desperately. Nikki nodded her head, and she looked scared while she ran to me. She finally got to me, and she was shaking. I looked down, hazeley at the sword that was pierced through my body, and I looked at Nikki and blinked a couple of times because everything was blurry. Then I heard a faint, “NO!!”I slowly looked up, and I saw my mom up against the glass with tears in her eyes as she looked at the sword in my stomach. I looked at Nikki, and her hands were shaking like crazy. “Issac, are you alright?” She asked. “Y-Yeah I’m f-fine” I said in between breaths. I looked at Aiden, and his hands were on the glass, and he looked scared. So did my dad. In fact, everyone was looking at me worriedly. “N-Nikki,” I said. “Yes?!” She said fastly. “I’m g-going to pull the s-sword out, and I n-need you to quickly p-put a healing light o-on my stomach” I struggled to say. “Okay” She said with her hands out. I leaned my head back against the wall and looked at the tall ceiling, and took a deep breath. I grabbed the end of the sword and shut my eyes tight, and started pulling it out slowly. “AHHHRGGGH!!!” I yelled as I started pulling. I kept pulling and yelling through the way. “It’s alright! Think of something else! Think about how you’re going to defeat Lord Migas!” I said in my head as I still yelled. The end was almost out, “AHHH!” I yelled as it came out completely. Nikki quickly put both of her hands out and used five fingers and put a healing light over my stomach, and the wound closed in a few seconds. I dropped the sword and hung my head. “Issac? Are you okay?” Nikki asked. I put my hand on my stomach and looked up smiling. “Good job Nikki… Are you okay?” I said. She smiled widely and nodded. I stood up straight and picked up my scythe and looked at everyone in the tubes. They all had a smile on their faces, and my mom was wiping her tears and saying: “Oh thank you for healing, my son” Nikki nodded her head and smiled. I smiled, and then I felt a wave of anger when I saw Ash and Edward on the floor struggling to get up. I stepped forward, and with my speed, I went to Edward and picked him up and carried him on my shoulder and gave him to Nikki, and she immediately started healing him. I went to Ash next and crouched down to pick her up when she said, “I’m so glad you’re alright” “It’s all thanks to Nikki” I said as I got to Nikki. Edward was already healed, and he stood up and hugged me tight. “I was so scared,” He said. “I know…I’m sorry, I could’ve dodged it” I said. “It’s alright…Don’t blame yourself” I nodded my head and looked up at Ace in the air with Molly. “Alright Molly! Let’s get him!” Ace said. Molly nodded her head and put her hands in front of her. “Ready?” She asked. Ace nodded. “Go!” Jack came out of nowhere and pinned Lord Migas down with his sword, and Ace let out a few fast flying metal feathers, and Molly put a huge wave over them, and they all hit Lord Migas “UGH” he said, then a huge yellow substance came out of his hand, and it hit Molly and Ace down, but Nikki caught them with her healing shield and healed them. “My turn” I mumbled. I stepped forward, and as soon as I got to Lord Migas, I slashed him in the back and knocked him down. “WHAT THE HELL?!?!” He yelled. He healed himself and swiftly turned around, and he looked furious. “How are you still alive?!” “Teamwork” I said calmly. Then he looked over at Nikki, “Oh! You have a healer! I’ll just take her out!” He said while he ran towards her, but I ran faster and got in front of him before he could slash her. “I don’t think so,” I said as I pushed him off. I pushed him against another wall hard, and he looked like he was in pain.
