Chapter 5: Tashken's Return

We stood at each end of the circle just looking at each other for a moment. Everyone sat down, and Ash put her hands on her face, “This is so stupid” She said. Jack was in her jacket sleeping.''You can do it, Issac!” Molly said. I smiled as I drew the circle in the air. The wind blew, and I had my costume on, and Tashken’s eyes went wide. “Wow! It changed, ' he said. “Alright let's get this going! Go!” He ran at me before I could even blink. He tried to slash at me with sharp blades on his arm, but I blocked it with my scythe. “You’re fast, Rashmen!” Tashken said. “Don’t call me that, metal face” I said. He just smiled and tried to slash me again but with his leg. I dodged, but the blade grazed my cheek, and blood came spilling out. I felt my cheek and I saw the blood on my finger and I flicked it off and stepped to the side with my speed and went behind him and I was about to slash him, when he went real fast behind me! “Crap!” I said as I flipped forward so he couldn’t get me. As I was flipping, I kicked him in the jaw straight up, and I landed to see him fixing his jaw. That was my chance to get him! So I ran up to him, and I used the end of my scythe to push him down, and I got down on him and put my arm around his neck really tight, and I brought my scythe to his head. “Okay! Okay!!! Stop!!” Tashken said. I stopped, and we both stood up. “What’s the deal metal face?” I said. “I’m not actually trying to kill you,” He said. “I just wanted to see if you could actually defeat the robots.' ' I looked at him wide-eyed. “What do you mean?!” I said. “We need to talk,” Tashken said. I sat down with the rest of the group. “You see, all of those years ago where I was trying to kill all of you… It wasn’t my intention, Migas is controlling the robots, including me and is trying to eliminate anyone who has powers and it doesn't matter if you’re a child or not. We’re being forced to kill all of you. When we are eliminated by you, we are not really gone unless you kill us again. There are 4 different types of robots, there are serums, heaths, micros, and lastly, carbos; which is me and the robot’s you usually fight.” He explained. “Serums…” I said. “Yeah…what about them?” Tashken asked. “Do you happen to know the serum called Wrath?” I asked. “Wrath? Yeah! He’s always understanding, and he was my best bud… But he got injected into too many things, so he died” Tashken
said sadly. “Tashken…” I said. “Yeah kid?” “Wrath was injected into me and…he's still here” Tashken’s eyes went wide. “Really?! Even after Migas removed him from existence???” He said, inches away from my face. I pushed him back, “Yeah…but he only comes and goes” I said. “How about we wait and see if he comes back!” Molly said. We all looked at her. “Good idea, kid!” Tashken said. So we waited for hours and I got a bit bored and so did everyone else. I knocked on my head: “Wraaaaathhh! Where are youuuuu” I said. Ash kept petting Jack, and his purr put me to sleep. I don't know how long after, but a noise kept going on in my head. “Issac Issac!...ISSAC!!!!!” “AHH!” I yelled as I jumped up. “You’re finally awake!” Tashken said. “What’s wrong?” “Wrath is that you?!” I asked. “Duh it’s me, you idiot! It took me forever to get you awake,” I smiled: “Guys he's here!” “Wrath???” Tashken said as he got really close to me. “Finally” Ace said. “I fell asleep too” “Oh hey Tashken!” Wrath said. “He said," Oh hey Tashken” I said. “Oh my gosh, this is amazing!” Tashken said. “I think there is a way to make him a carbo!” I looked at him with a shocked look on my face. “Are you serious?!” I said. “Yeah! I heard Migas talking about making serums carbos so they are stronger, '' Tashken exclaimed. “I also heard him telling how to do it…if the serum is not used, they put a little bit of carbon into it and they start to form into carbos…but if the serums are in something, you have to stick a needle into the object or person and suck out the serum and then you put a piece of carbon in it” He explained. I looked at him with my hand on my jaw and sighed. “Another damn needle…great” I said. “Alright Wrath, do you wanna get out of my head?” “That’d be great, It’s kinda boring in here.” Wrath said. “I have extra needles in my foot in case I have to put someone asleep to calm them down but I'll take out the substance from one needle to suck up Wrath” Tashken said as he opened his foot up. He emptied the syringe and stuck a needle in it. I slowly rolled up my sleeve and braced myself. “Ash,” I said. “Yeah?” She answered. “Can you squeeze my other hand as hard as you can?” I asked. She looked confused, “Uh sure…but why?” “So I can focus on another pain” I said. “Alright” Ash said as she held my hand. “Alright Tashken and Ash, go!” I said as I closed my eyes tight and held my breath. Ash squeezed my hand very tightly, and it hurt! I didn’t even notice the needle, and it was done in a few seconds. Ash let go of my hand, and I exhaled. “Jeez Ash!” I said. “You said hard!” She said, smiling. “Thanks” I said to her. “No problem,” She said. I looked at Tashken, who was holding the substance that Wrath was in. “You got him?” I asked. “Yeah, he’s right here,” Tashken said. He took a piece of carbon off of himself and dropped it into the substance, and it started to bubble. Then Tashken set it on the ground, and the substance started coming out of the syringe and forming into something. “Will I actually get to see Wrath for the first time?” I thought. The substance formed completely, but there was still bubbling stuff on the figure. It started to come off, and a few seconds later, you could see another robot standing there. He stood there for a minute with his eyes closed and then looked at me. “Hey kid” He said. My eyes widened, “W-Wrath?!” I said. He crossed his arms, “That’s me” He said. I smiled, and I got up and ran to hug him. He sounded surprised when I hugged him, and then he hugged me back. I looked up at him and noticed how cool he looked! He had red eyes and a black piece of carbon on his left eye and shoulders. “So this is what the real world feels like when you are your own person” Wrath said. “It’s nice.'' We sat around and talked for a while, and it got a little late, and it was silent for a moment. I got up and I looked at all of my friends. “We can’t just sit here and let Migas take over all of us…we need to get rid of him! He can't control Wrath and Tashken anymore, right? So tomorrow, I want all of you to meet me at the abandoned hot dog shop after school” I said. They all nodded and left while Wrath and Tashken stayed at the spot.
