Multiversal love [Error x Ccino x Shattered]

First meeting

Sans jumped as a skeleton fell onto the black floor of the saving screen. The skeleton had a yellow hero costume or something similar. He looked like he'd been crying.

"Who the fuck are you?" Sans said, getting in a defensive position.
"Hey, Hey, hold your horses, Geno, it's me Dream!" The skeleton explained.

Sans stared at him judgmentally.

"Listen, I have no idea who 'Geno' or 'Dream' is, but you don't seem like anybody I know." (Sans was addressed as 'buddy' by the other Sans he lived with.)

"Wha-" The skeleton looked puzzled for a second. "Wait is this even my multiverse?!"
"What the fuck are you on about?" Now it's Sans' turn to be confused.
"Sorry, may I check you? I know it seems random, but it's crucial at the moment." The hero-looking weirdo looked at him with pleading eyes.

"Uhhhh" To be honest, Sans didn't really know how to feel. "Give me a moment. And don't. go. anywhere."

Sans had to collect his thoughts. This banana-looking individual just appeared out of nowhere, called him 'Geno', and then asked to check him.

"Right, you're going to answer some questions and I'll decide what to do next," Sans said, moving away from the stranger, just in case.
"Sounds good!" The yellow guest exclaimed with a little too much enthusiasm for Sans' liking.

"Right..." The skeleton was making Sans worry more and more. "First of all who are you?"
"As I said, I'm Dream. I'm the guardian of positivity."

"Ookay..." Sans didn't look convinced. "Do you remember anything before you got here?"

'Dream' was silent for some time. "I remember a portal."

"Huh... Could you explain more?"

"Well, I was crying... And then out of nowhere, this portal opened. Before I could react I was here."

Sans stared at him in disbelief.

'This is hard to believe, 'Dream' falls through a portal, starts calling people strange names, and addresses himself as 'guardian of positivity'. To him, he just seems like a drunk weirdo. Especially with that outfit.'

"Alright" Sans snapped out of his thoughts, "you said something about  'not your multiverse' What's that about?"

"You don't know?" Dream was taken aback. " well do you know what a multiverse is?"
Sans nodded.
"Well imagine your multiverse but with changes"

"Fine you can check me," he sighed.

Geno didn't lift his eye off Dream. They stayed in awkward silence until the golden skeleton got a little too uncomfortable.

"Sooo, what's this place like?" He asked with a smile, hoping it'll ease the tension.
"Well, nobody cares about anyone, because they're too caught up in their own bullshit-" Geno shook his head in disappointment "- and the only people who know about me are the weird artist rainbow vomit, and the god of death who just flirts with me and complains about me not letting him do his job."

"Wait, only two?!" Dream looked baffled.
"Yes... Reaper met me when he was supposed to collect my soul and the weird rainbow guy just appeared in this void, said 'shit I shouldn't be here!' and disappeared"
"Oh... how often does Reaper visit you?"
"Rarely," Geno said, his expression seeming distant.
"So you're alone most of the time?"  Dream knew it wasn't his multiverse, but he was still worried.
"Almost always." Geno was now looking into Dream's eyes.

Dream knew he couldn't let anybody just suffer alone and lose their mind. He also knew he should change that way of thinking. People are starting to take advantage of him. But... this 'Geno' seemed like he actually needed help and wouldn't use him.

"W-Would you like if I came over from time to time and talked to you? I feel like you really need company." He asked with a sigh.
"Yeah, yeah, I'd like that" Sans' face brightened.

'Does he actually care?' Sans was skeptical of this all. Nobody else seemed to care.

"What about your multiverse?" The question took Dream off guard.
"Well Ink only cares about the aus and is emotionless, Blue is only talking about Dust and it's getting a little annoying.-" Dream too a deep breath "- My brother's a dick and wants to spread negativity around the universe. I'm too weak to stop him."
"Oh..."

Geno was silent for a moment.
"They sound awful," He said.
"Yeah..." Dream finished checking Sans' soul "Yeah this is definitely not my universe."
"Do you want a hug?"
"Huh?"
"You sound upset, do you want a hug?" Sans stared at Dream.
"S-sure," The newcomer said getting close to Sans.
