It was a bright morning for some shopping as crowds bustled about to and from the various stores and restaurants around the shopping center. You and your mother had come for some early morning breakfast and window shopping before she dropped you off for your UA entrance exams later that day. Currently you were sizing yourself up in a mirror, examining how this little pair of heeled black boots looked and how they complimented your shapely legs.

Trying to stand in various poses, You judged your balance in the high heeled boots. On one leg, bending over, strutting down the aisle, overall you were happy with your ability to flaunt the shoes no matter the circumstance. With a smile you turned to your mother, biggest puppy eyes on your face as you cozied up to her.

Y/n: How do they look

Y/n: How do they look.

Midnight: Wonderful, now put them back.

Y/n: But mom—

Midnight: But nothing, we don't have time to pay for them, your exams are soon. We can pick them up later.

Y/n: That'd be more believable if your arms weren't full.

You pouted at the three shoe boxes your voluptuous mother had tucked under her arm and against her wide hip.

Midnight: Don't give me that missy, these were prepaid and include your new ballet shoes, the ones you need for tearing up your old ones. Now put those back we got to meet up with Rumi soon.

Shrugging as you sat down and unlaced the boots, taking them off and putting them back in their box before slipping on the boots You wore into the store. Nodding, your mother began walking out of the store as you followed her. You vaguely noticed how many people checked out your mother and you as you both strutted through the shopping district, and while most eyes were on your mother's more mature body you were proud to see several of the people more interested in you. Smiling as you stopped at the food court, your mother turned to you.

Midnight: Sweetie, I have one last stop to make so wait here for Rumi while mommy gets her shopping done.

Y/n: Why can't I join you?
