When Rias had taken up co-governance of Kuoh her parents had made sure that she and her peerage would have appropriate housing through the purchase of an inconspicuous apartment complex on the nicer side of town. The building was refurbished and a room provided for each of your aunt's peer members with you and her each being given one of the two pent house suites.

Initially you'd been reluctant to accept such a generous gift for fear of how it'd impact your image as Rias's servant. But your grand parents were a stubborn bunch and laughed away any discussion to be had over it. Such you were placed in the second largest and most lavish flat in the building with almost an entire floor to call your own.

However that didn't change your role the building, for every morning you got up at 5 a.m. to begin work by cleaning and seeing to the common areas of the building. Then after that was done you dropped by into the kitchen to prepare breakfast for the girls for when they woke up.

This morning was no different. After having wiped down and restocked the buildings gym area you were now just finishing setting the table for Miss Rias and her friends when Koneko arrived looking hungry.

Setting your tray down, you gave the petite girl a deep curtsy.

Y/n: Greetings Master Koneko. I trust you've slept well?

Your greetings went ignored as the white haired took immediately zoned in on the steaming platter of pancakes dominating the center of the table. Drool trickled down her lips as she sat down and started piling food onto her plate.

Koneko: Pass the syrup.

Smiling, you walked over to hand her the pitcher of syrup before going ahead and filling her glass with milk. At the same time the rest of your Rias's peerage began filing in to be seated and served. First to arrive was Yumi Kiba, your aunt's third servant and only knight. Miss Yumi was a blonde girl of above average height and a healthy figure. One whose soft blue eyes somehow always seemed to find you whenever she entered the room.

Yumi: Y/n! It's good to see you. How were things around here while I was gone?

Bowing your head, you offered the blonde knight a gentle smile as you pulled out a chair and offered her a seat.

Y/n: Everything was well in hand. How was your training with Sir Okita.

The blonde smiled at the memory of the time she spent learning under your father's knight.

Yumi: It went well. I'll have to tell you all about it after I check in with Rias. Speaking of, you haven't seen our king around have you?

You shook your head.

Y/n: Unfortunately no. She and Miss Akeno appear to be running late this morning.

Although initially disappointed, Yumi's mood swiftly brightened up as she sat down and began serving herself a plate. You smiled seeing her enjoy your cooking, the compliments only lifting your mood higher as you flittered fluttered about the table seeing to hers and Koneko's needs when they arose. About ten minutes later your master finally arrived and you would stand to greet her.
