When I went into the kitchen, I found Gemma making coffee. She handed me a mug and I thanked her.

"Alex said something about getting our nails done," she said.

"That could be fun," I said.

"Let's make a day of it baby. Lowell can handle the office."

I agreed and we finished our coffees before heading out. Gemma left the boys with Piney and we headed down to the only salon in town.

We got our nails done and chatted a bit. She paid for our nails and paid for me to get my hair cut.

"Thank you for today Gem," I said.

"Of course baby. Glad I could help."

We headed out to the car and decided we should probably get back to the lot.

"Is everything okay with Lowell?" I asked as she drove.

"He's probably using again," she said.

"Maybe," I replied.

"Don't worry about him. How are you and Alex?"

"Good," I said. "Really good."

She smiled at that. "That's good baby."

When we got back from getting out nails done, the lot was quiet. Alex wasn't around which made me sad but I helped Gemma out in the office and it passed the rest of the day quickly.

At the end of the day Kozik took me back to our place.

"You know Alex loves you right?" He asked as we ate dinner together. Alex still wasn't home but I had made dinner so we were going to eat.

"Yeah I know," I said.

"He has for as long as I've known him."

I smiled at that. "Kozik I know, but thank you."

He just nodded. It fell silent between us. We ate in that silence and just as we were finishing up Alex walked in. I walked out to greet him.

"Hey baby," I said. He kissed my cheek. "I'll make you a plate."

He nodded and went to the table as I went to the kitchen. I made him a plate and grabbed him a beer.

I sat the items down in front of Alex.

"Thank you baby," he said. I just nodded and sat down next to him.

"Everything okay?" Kozik asked. Alex just nodded. Kozik's phone started ringing and I knew he'd be leaving.

"How was your day?" I asked softly.

"Good. Yours?"

"Great," I said. "Wish you were around more but I understand."

"Me too baby. You're hair looks great baby."

"Thanks," I said with a smile.

"After dinner want to share a bath?" He asked. I nodded.

"I'd love that baby," I said.

He finished up dinner and we headed down to the bathroom together. We both stripped down and stepped into the bath he had drawn.

"Hey baby," Alex said after a while of just sitting together.

"Yeah," I said.

"I love you," he said.

"I love you too Alex," I said. He took my hands in his and just held them.

"Things with the club are getting rough baby. I can't tell you much beyond that but I need you to know how much I love you."

"I know Alex," I said. "I've known for a while."

He sighed and relaxed. He kissed my neck and pulled me closer to him.

After about an hour we got out and headed down to the bedroom.

"Alex," I said softly as we laid in bed all curled up together.

"Ren baby," he said. His hand trailing up my arm gently.

"Do you maybe want to show me how much you love me?"

He laughed a little. "Ren are you asking if I want to have sex?"

"Yeah I guess I am," I said smiling at him.

"Come here," he said, pulling me into a kiss.
