"chris...im sorry. i cant do this anymore." taylor said with teary eyes. the blonde had one of chris' hoodies in her hands, clutching onto it like it was her lifeline. her eyes were red and her face was puffy, the cold weather only having so little to do with it. she could feel an unfamiliar tightness in her chest, one she had never felt with chris before. ever since the first time she met chris she never knew she would be leaving him like this one day. "i know that you'll probably hate me after this...and i wish i could make it up to you...but its over. we're over..." she wiped her eyes, handing back the blue hoodie he had given her. she couldn't bear to look up at the boy, knowing she would have to watch his heart shatter right in front of her.

"what do you mean we're over? we cant be over!" chris exclaimed, dropping the flowers onto the park bench the two were sat on. "do i not get a say in this? i dont get a say in our relationship after a fucking year?" he asked, his voice breaking as his words got quieter with tears filling his eyes as they dared to fall into the cold air from his warm face. he looked at the blonde desperate for an answer, a single word to confirm anything he would even take a nod or shake of her head. he loved her and she was saying goodbye like he meant nothing to her.

"im sorry." taylor said through cries, her hand over her mouth as she finally looked up at him. "i just cant." she shook her head, biting down on her lip to try and refrain from the sobs that threatened to leave her mouth as the emotions tried to control her mind. she stood up, looking down at her feet more a few moments as chris stayed on the bench, not saying anything as his face has gone cold with not a single emotion showing through the facade he had made in the short time that felt like eternity for the young boy.
