taylor laid on her bed in a state some would consider coma-like. it felt like she hadn't moved in years, decades maybe. her own body weight was too much for her mind to take and her movements now being out of her control. her hands held under her head and her shoulder dug into the mattress beneath her but it still wasn't enough comfort to help ease her into sleep. she was awake but her mind was dead.
every piece of food taylor tried to eat was thrown up, the sleepless nights going up in count with how long she stayed conscious without rest, it was very concerning how she was acting and anyone could see that.
anyone except her dad, that is.
taylors dad didnt think anything was wrong with his daughter other than her being 'lazy' and 'regretting' the move, just like he said she would. this, however, wasnt the case. the blonde girl had a bad history of going into states of depression and knowing the reason, but still withholding it from anyone. it was a bad habit she had yet to break.
words that were said to taylor meant nothing and anytime she thought to do something or tried, she failed and ended up staying in bed for the rest of the day until she got up for a few short minutes to use the bathroom or grab another cup filled with ice water.
her dad had yelled at her every couple of hours to make his point even more known.
the thoughts in taylors head were spinning and it felt like all the blood had been drained from her brain, her oxygen cut off in order to send her into her current state.
at some point during the night, at a time taylor didn't remember, she had plugged in her phone and put her longest playlist on shuffle. it had been playing since then and she hadn't had the energy to skip any songs or change the playlist. so many songs had played that taylor had lost count, not that she was anyway.
