3 days had pasted since taylor unblocked matt. he still hadn't noticed. the blonde was lying in bed, scrolling through instagram as music played for background noise. it was around 3am, and for the first time in almost a year, taylor wasn't tired. she was wide awake like someone lit fire to her brain, keeping it awake. she could barely see in the dark lighting of her room with only her phone illuminate the black space surrounding her.

she looked over to the other side of her room, hearing something gently hit the window. she slowly got up and walked over, pushing the curtains out of the way so she could see down to her backyard. a small smile grew on her face at who she saw, running over to her lamp and turning on the light before going back to the window and opening it. she unlocked it, pushing the white window border up so she could stick her head out the window. "what the fuck are you doing here?" she whispered just loud enough she the person could hear. "its, like, 3 in the morning." she said as he climbed the tree up to her room.

"couldn't sleep, needing to get away from my parents." jasper shrugged, now standing on the branch in front of her window so his arms rested on the white sill that he was in front of him. "you dont mind if i stay, right? if you do, i can go bother bridget." he told her, the small on his face clearly forced even though it was already small. taylor pushed the curtains away more, stepping out of the way so he could climb it.

it wasn't the first night jasper that come over in the middle of the night wanting to get away from his dad and stepmom. taylor knew it, and she was willing to her in trouble with her own father just so that jasper coudl spend the night at her house, watching movies and sneaking snacks up to the girls room so they could quietly giggle over random shit they saw on their phones until they fell asleep at some time in the early morning.
