Is this what friendship feels like? Asteria thought, but she was pulled out of her thoughts and back into the entry cave when a sweet NightWing greeted her. Examining her appearance, Asteria noted the small, silver, teardrop shaped scales next to her eyes. Not nearly as large as her own, but still big enough to be noticeable. There was also a beautiful ring of silver scales on one of her arms, resembling a bracelet.
Aha. Fatespeaker.
"Hello! I'm Fatespeaker. And you are...?" The NightWing prompted. Splash let go of Asteria, and cheerfully piped up.
"I'm Splash, and this is Asteria! We're here for our welcome scrolls, and to be sorted into our winglets," she smiled her signature grin, which Fatespeaker returned eagerly.
"Of course! Let me grab them," Fatespeaker retrieved two scrolls, each of which was rolled up tightly and was stamped with a wax seal, and handed them to the girls.
"Thank you!" Asteria and Splash said politely, waving goodbye to the friendly NightWing as they sat on a nearby rock. Asteria unrolled her scroll and glanced at it curiously.

"Awh, we're not in the same winglet! That sucks, but oh well! I'm sure your winglet will be really nice!" Splash said, after reading her scroll.
Under the winglet groups in the welcome scroll was a timetable, and Splash eagerly looked over Asteria's to see what if their timetables overlapped.
"Ooh we have a lot of classes together! Our winglet's must be grouped with eachother or something," Splash said, grinning. "Well, we should probably go find our winglets. See you in class!"
Asteria blinked, and barely had enough time to wave a quick goodbye before the MudWing was already gone.
Oh well. I guess I'll go find my cave.
