"I got a bouquet of red tulips today; did you send them?" Felix asked.

James shook his head, keeping a slight eye on the four girls looking around the shop, "No, I have yet to send you any flowers," he said

    Felix raised a brow, "Yet?"

The older smiled and looked to Felix, "Yes, I have yet to send you flowers,"

"Are you trying to make intentions clear or is it a thank you?"

James hummed, "I do believe, I wish to clear up my intentions,"

"And what are your intentions, Sir James, son of the Baron James?" Felix questioned.

The brunet smiled, "I do not wish to lie. I wish to court you, however, there seems to be another person interested in you and I do not wish to step over any lines," he said.

"Another person? I do not follow,"

"That guard of yours, he has an interest in you. It is evident in his eyes, he looks at you like you're his whole world,"

Felix looked at the ground and pursed his lips, the memory of the kiss from a mere three days ago playing in his head.

"Then, it is probably wise for us to remain as just friends and not enter a courtship, as I feel the same for him," Felix said softly.

James nodded, "I shall still send you flowers though, as a thank you for bringing us here," he stated.

Felix smiled at him, "I would like that very much,"

The sound of glass breaking and the feeling of something hitting hard against the back of his head stopped Felix from saying anything further.

He could hear speaking, but it was muffled due to his ears ringing.

Black spots speckled his vision until he passed out. No one's movements were fast enough to catch him before he landed in the glass.

Chan rushed over to his cousin and gently touched the back of his head, his hand covered by blood, "Jackson!" He called out.

"Tina, take the girls home quickly," James said.

   The redhead nodded.

"You need to stop pouting and get the hell out of the house!" Hyunjin's twin said.

Hyunjin rolled his eyes and shut his book, "I do not wish to leave the confines of my room, dear sister," he said

Yeji sighed, "What is going on, huh? I've never seen you like this,"

Hyunjin rubbed his face a little harshly.

    "I kissed the prince,"

The younger's eyes widened with shock.

"You- you kissed the prince? Hyunjin, what in the world—oh my..."

The male sat up, "I couldn't handle it anymore, I love him—I actually love him," Hyunjin said.

"Hyunjin, he is a prince. It is written in the stars that he is meant to be with someone who has a title, not- not someone like you or I," Yeji said.

Those words were piercing. They hurt so bad... but they were true, weren't they? It was written in the stars, Felix was meant to be with someone of higher social status, right?

There was a knock on the house door and Hyunjin quickly got up to escape the dreadful conversation.

   "S-sir Hyunjin?" The man questioned.

   "Yes?"

The man looked rather nervous, "I am here on- on behalf of the queen. She requires me to, uhm," Hyunjin raised a brow at the man's nervousness, "uhm, she requires me to inform you, that, uh, the prince, he has been injured,"

Worry shot through Hyunjin, "Hurt? How?"

"Uh, he- he was in town with Sir Jackson today at his cousin's shop and someone threw something through the window. It hit the prince in the head, and he faint- fainted," the poor man was becoming increasingly nervous with each word spoken.

Hyunjin pursed his lip and took a deep breath. Worry was replaced with anger, and it was evident in his features, "Thank you for informing me, you should take your leave now,"

The man was quick to nod and scurry off.

Taking yet another deep breath, Hyunjin closed the door.

   "What happened?" Yeji asked.

"I must go. Something urgent happened and it requires my attention," Hyunjin said, quickly putting on his shoes and cloak.

However, even as Hyunjin left, the words Yeji said rang in his head. And it hurt. It hurt so much.
