Your on the boat with the pouges after you and JB stole scuba from the druthers.
"You stole empty tanks!" Kie exclaims looking at the tanks monitor
"Okay great this one's a quarter full."
"That's doable right? So who knows how to dive?" I question them
"Kind of a kook sport." JJ scoffs looking at his feet.
"I read about it ..." Pope raises his hand
"Great pope read about it so someone's definitely gonna die"
"Look how hard can it be put the thing in your mouth and breath right." The blonde asks looking at everyone
"Well if you come up to fast nitrogen gets into your system and you get the bends." Pope sighs
"Bends like bend over" JJ says leaning over slightly
I try to hide my laugh.
"The bends kill you"
"Right...knew that" he replies
"Sure you did." I whisper to him patting his back
"I can dive." John B stand up
"Since when?"
"I'm good with that." JJ says
John B puts on the gear and stands at the edge of the boat.
Kiara is about to walk over to him
Nuh uh I don't want anymore lovey dovey crap that's my brother..
"Diver down!" I shout and push him b in before she gets to him
He jumps in and we all sit at the edge of the boat peeking over.
"He's taking forever dude." I whine
"Shit do you hear that.." JJ mumbles he turns around and sees the cops not taking his eyes off of them he whispers "it's the cops guys"
"Crap uhm what do we do" I panic
"Just act frikin normal" Kiara straightens her posture.
"Hey there" One of the cops say "what you doing out here."
"Just hanging..." I reply a little to quickly
"You guys know the marsh is closed today?" He asks
"What?"
"No"
"No really why?" JJ adds
"Conducting a search boat went down...mind if I come aboard." He says gesturing towards the boat.
"Yeah yeah climb aboard" pope said
"Where's your little friend you hang out with?"
"Scu-" pope starts before I smack my hand over his mouth. The deputy sends me a look.
"Thought I saw I fly on him.." I lie
"He's uh at work." Kiara answers his question.
"Mhm you got another one of these" he points to a life vest
"Yeah of course"
"Show him JJ" Kiara tells him

"Okay..well...that's all.." the cop says
"We'll be gone soon sir" JJ waves
"Yeah you will .." the cop whispers under his breath thinking we wouldn't hear.
We run to the side of the boat leaning over looking for John B.
"He's definitely out of air"
Not much later he appears out of the water.
"Oh my- you scared the shit outta me." Kie gasps
"Find anything?" JJ asks
"Yeah I did" he hands JJ a bag.
Pope pulls JB on the boat as I help John B out of the gear.
"Guys-guys bogey 2 o' clock" Kiara whisper shouts.
"Crap" I hear John B say " JJ get the anchor"
"On it chief"
John B starts the boat "should we wait on them" pope asks
"Hell no."
"Sketchy af"
"Guys they're following us." Kie warns us.
"John B go faster"
"Yep okay okay I am"
John B speeds up and I hear a bullet go off.
"Crap John B go" pope yells covering his head and ducking.
Kiara and me run and cover ourselves as JJ goes on his stomach.
3rd person:
Another gun shot went of as John B took a sharp turn. YN looks over her shoulder and sees a net Kiara looks at her and nods, as both of the girls get up another gun shot fires.
"YN KIE GET DOWN" John B screams.
"YN KIE!"
YN and Kiara grab the net and throw it over the end of the boat as the other one comes to a halt.
" YES!" YN and kie cheered high giving eachother a last gun shot goes off.

"That was crazy" YN exclaims
"Cmon we almost died over this" Kiara says as they all rush on the dock
JJ gets excited and starts blabbering to John B about what it could be.
" Can we just open the bag?!" Pope says clearly losing patience.
"Wow pope"
"That's a rare outburst of emotion"
"Yeah whatever we almost died over this."
John B opens the canister and shakes it a compass falls into his hand.
"Oh yep that seems about right" pope throws his hat on the ground
"A compass..." Kie sighs
"What dude it's not worth anything." JJ says looking at John B and YN who's eyes were fixated on the compass.
"This was our fathers..."
Hey sorry for the short chapter.
I'm going to do more of JJ and YN soon I promise I'm just working the back story. I'm gonna skip some of the middle stuff in the next chapter and skip to John B on a 'misson' with Sarah, but as he's away it's gonna focus on JJx YN. So stay tuned it should be posted in a day or 2 (most likely tmmr)
