My ears are ringing so loudly it's like my ears are bleeding. My head is pounding. I feel that I'm on the ground with my face closed into my knees, I feel the grass on my forehead. My head is pounding harder than ever along with my heart. I feel tears running off the bridge of my nose and the way it rustles the grass when the drops fall on the grass.

The ringing starts to fade and I hear a muffled voice. Not like the one I just heard.

"Hey... Excuse me... Are you alright..."

I move my hands onto the ground and push my upper body up shaking my head. I wipe the tears from my eyes trying to not look like I need to confide in them and look up.

"Hello, are you alright?" They say again and I hear them more clearly.

"Um.. Yes.. I... I am." I respond to them shaking my head a bit more trying to come to my senses and pushing myself back up.

As I stand up I see what creature they are, a human, an elderly female human that is.

She seems so... Worried about me. Humans always show such emotion on their faces, I quite like that about them. They show more than I'm able to and I envy that.

"Are you sure you're alright? Are you hurt at all? Was something or someone after you?" She says concerningly.

"I'm sure, thank you. No, no one and nothing was after me, thank you for your concern, you're very kind." Why did I say this so confidently? She sees right through me. I know it. Humans are always very good at telling emotions and facial expressions apart easily.

"You look a bit worn out dear, please, let me help you. I have some stew brewing at home. It's not that far from here. Please come join me, you look like you could use some food." She persisted with me.

She really seems worried about me, I'm guessing she might be a grandmother. Human grandmothers have always been incredibly kind to me, it worries me how kind they are, especially because of witches. I really don't want to get involved with a witch.

"Ma'am, I really appreciate your offer but I swear I'm okay. I just... needed some alone time that's all." I'm really trying to push her off of me so I'm trying to really seem confident that I'm okay.

"Okay dear.. If you say so. My home is on the edge of the woods here, about a mile to the right of the path. I live on the outskirts of the town, you're welcome to swing by any time. The townspeople are lovely, I'm sure you'll be able to get what you need from them as well. Have a nice day sweetie."

"Okay thank you ma'am. You have a nice day as well, be careful in the woods, never know what's coming heh. Also thank you for telling me about the town." I exclaim to her as we part our ways on the path. She was so sweet to me, I kind of regret rejecting her that way but i need to find a way to get in better shape without someone watching over me. That's dangerous for me and especially for them.

Hopefully that nice elderly lady wasn't lying to me about this town... I'd love to sit in a pub and have a drink of ale and be surrounded by noises I can see.
