Chapter 24

We spent the rest of the day doing random fun stuff and just hanging out. No crazy incidents with fans, just a few pictures people wanted, even a boy directioner or 2.

**Niall POV**

I can't stand this anymore, Gabriella is so adorable and sweet but I don't know if she's interested. I don't know what to do, plus a long distance relationship doesn't seem like it would be easy. She lives on the other side of the world, I know I should let her go but I can't, because I don't even have her! I need to talk to someone, and I know I can always turn to Zayn.

I walk outside on the side porch to see Zayn sitting there alone, what good luck! I sit down and he looks at me for a few seconds. That's all he needed to read my mind.

Zayn: 'Ask her out bro.'

Me: 'What...?'

Zayn: 'Seriously, just ask her out.'

Me: 'You think so?'

Zayn: 'Everyone in the house thinks so.'

Me: 'Not her...'

Zayn: 'Are you kidding me? All she does is flirt with you...She is waiting for you to do it!'

Me: 'You think so? But what about when she goes back home to Canada?'

Zayn: 'Skype...'

Me: 'But a long distance relationship just doesn't...'

Zayn: 'Niall, we have to travel all the time anyways! Our tour is leaving again in 2 months! If you want a relationship at all, it will be a long distance one...'

Me: 'Okay, I'll go for it! Tomorrow is Friday right? I'll do it after the dinner! It's perfect cause I think Harry is planning on asking out Vanes too!'

Right then Gabby comes walking out.

Gabby: 'Are you serious?!!?'

Me: 'How much did you just hear???'

Gabby: 'Just about Harry and Vanes...Was there something else I should know?'

Me: 'Oh...No...'

Gabby: 'Is he actually going to ask her?!'

Me: 'Yeah, but don't say anything to her about it!'

Gabby: 'Oh don't worry I won't! I just came to get you guys to come in for cake.'

Me: 'YEESSS!!!!' I yell running towards the kitchen jumping over everything in my way.

**Gabby POV**

Me: 'Woah, he really likes cake....'

Zayn: 'What do you expect? He's Niall!'

I walk in with Zayn to see Niall practically shoving his face in.

Zayn: 'Did Harry tell you about the plan?'

Me: 'Oh yeah, and I'm ready!'

I see Vanes standing in front of her birthday cake admiring it when Harry gives the signal. He taps his foot once; we get into position. Twice; we get ready. Third tap and we push Vanessa's head down and her face right into the cake. We let go and I fall on the floor laughing by the amount of icing she had on her face.

After we ate, Niall and I sit on the swing chair on the balcony alone together. I have only been in love with this guy since I first saw a clip from the x-factor! He is so sweet in person and I still can't believe I have met him. His arm is around me and a laid my head on his shoulder. We aren't dating but he is so sweet to me, I wish he would just ask me out!

I turn to Niall who is looking down at me, straight into my eyes. "You have beautiful eyes" I tell him sweetly.

"You have a beautiful everything" he replies blushing a little.

You smile at him "Why do you have to be the sweetest guy in the universe?" He just blushes and giggles a bit to himself.

"Why do you have to make this so much harder for me to say?" he says.

"Say what Nialler?" I get intrigued.

He continues. "It's just, you are so cute and pretty and funny and sweet and pretty and I...."my heart was melting when all of a sudden.

"VAS HAPPENIN'?!?!" Zayn yells smiling at us as he runs out on the balcony. He sits down in the chair across from us and catches on to our looks.

"Am I interrupting something here?" he asks but I think me and Niall's dirty looks were enough. He stands up about to back inside when the rest of the boys plus Vanes come out too.

"REALLY GUYS?!?!" I scream.

"Well someone's moody..." Louis replies winking at me with his sassiness.

Me: 'You guys couldn't of picked a worse time...'

Harry: 'Oh, did we interrupt you and Niall having a little make-out session?' everyone laughs except Niall who gives off a little fake giggle and me who gives him a glare.
