OUR FORGOTTEN LOVE

CHAPTER 14

SKYLAR'S POV

This was not how I expected my evening to be. I was supposed to be watching horror movies whist devouring a tub of ice cream.... but instead I'm having dinner with Austin and my mom.

I always thought Luke would be the first boy to actually sit and have a decent conversation with my mom whilst having dinner but Noooooooo. ... it had to be Austin..... the douche himself.

I didn't think that he was even capable of being such a gentleman..... yup heee was being a gentleman.

He and my mom actually conversed great together, it's almost as if they were catching up. I was amazing watching them just talk.

"So Skylar when were you going to bring Luke to meet your mother, " Austin asked. Way to include me into your conversation.... jerk.

I actually never really talked about him to my mom, she just knew about him. If I had relationship problem I would've just gone to Kimberly or Katelyn.

" Yeah sweetie, I never really got a chance to speak with the young man," my God is she taken up by Austin's charm. Somebody call 911.

" He never really had the time, he's pretty busy, " it was the only excuse I could've thought off. To be honest we never really thought about meeting each other's parents, we were simply contented just the way we are. ......

But the way he's been acting lately, I don't even know what to think.

IS he cheating on me? Is there someone else? Noooooooo. ..... let's not events go there, I trust Luke that's all there is, nothing more...nothing less.

" Well he should make some, I would really like to meet him hun, " my mom responded. I didn't know it that was a good idea considering what's happening now.

"Yeah Sky, he is your boyfriend he should always make the time for you," Austin added, with a teasing voice. He is such a jerk. I just rolled my eyes at this statement

"Sky, I forgot to tell you , your father is flying back into the country tomorrow," she said. I didn't know how to react my dad's continuously flying in and out of the country, I Know that requires him to do it but we barely have time to connect as a family. It always feels as if something's missing.

" Alright dinner is finished, Sky you can drop Austin home, goodbye Austin," she said as she made her way to the kitchen. Thank God that's over .

" Come on lets go," I gestured to Austin as he followed behind me.

As soon as we were outside, " Soooo, looks like your mom likes me," he said. He just likes to irritate me, doesn't he.

" Yeah, I guess, you talked as if you known each-other before," I stated. He watched me and smirked.

" Princess I'm extremely easy to converse with unlike that Duke," he said. This boy sure does know how to trip someone off.

" You know you're making this drop extremely hard for me right," I said in annoyance. He just laughed and got into the car.

The car ride was extremely quiet, except fort he fact that we kept arguing and switching the radio station, I mean it's my car!!
