SKYLAR'S POV
" He'll die if he sees you in this! !!!!" shrieked Kimberly.
"Yeah Kate you look hot !" She did she had on a black dress with a sweetheart neck and laced sleeves.
She blushed, " You really think so?" she asked shly.
"The fuck Kate! This is your dress. Now buy it before I buy it for me !!!!!!" Kim shouted. Earning a death glare from the manager. It was hilarious.

I looked at myself in the mirror with my hair and make up all done to perfection.
I bought a sky blue dress that was fitted at the top and flowed elegantly until my knee. The top half and sleeves were netted with sky blue flowers. When I saw it I knew it was the one.
*ding dong *
I rushed down the stairs hoping not to fall in my platforms.
*thud*
oh shit .
I fell.
I quickly got back up dusting off myself and cautiously headed to the door.
I breathlessly opened the door and took in the miraculous sight in front of me. Luke stood there in a fitted black suit with few buttons in his white shirt undone.
"You're okay babe? I heard a loud noise inside. " he enquired being genuinely concerned. Errr shit.
"M-m- my cat fell." I blurted out. Way to go Sky next thing he realizes you don't have a cat. ..
"You have a cat ??" Oh shit.
"Umm- yeah- let's go," I quickly said.
"Sure you look even more beautiful than usual, "
"Thanks, " I replied blushing, " You look handsome too." He smiled and opened the door for me.

As we parked,I noticed it was Derrunay's. One of the most expensive restaurant in town. "We're eating here?" I asked. He nodded and took my hand to lead me inside.
The restaurant was on the beach, so the first thing I heard was the waves crashing on the shore line.
"Do you have a reservation Sir? " the host asked.
"Yes. Table for two under the name Silvers," he said politely. The host nodded and led to us to our table.
We followed him outside onto the patio of the restaurant. There was only one table for us. On the table was three candles lit and with silverware neatly laid. Flower petals were spread across the table.
But the most captivating thing was that we had a direct view of the moonlit ocean. It was simply breath taking .
Wait, why is he doing all this for me????
am I that special. ....
What if he's goin to tell me he doesn't loved me anymore. ..
Well it is a pretty romantic way of saying soo.
"Do you like it?" Luke asked snapping me back to reality. Thanks I needed that.
"It's beautiful, Luke , it truly is," I said honestly.
"I'm glad you do I spent whole day working on this for you."
I walked up to him and gave him a kiss before he pulled my chair for me to sit down, like the gentleman he is.
I hope the night remains like this.

The night went on with jokes and conversations. It was truly amazing! We were already finished with the two courses, now dessert was left. My favorite.
We decided to order one of their signature brownies and vanilla ice cream to share. It was delicious.
"Want to go for a walk on the beach?" Luke asked and I nodded taking his hand.
After waking for about ten minutes Luke stopped. "Skylar there's something I have to tell you, " Oh my god....
"Remember I told told you my dad was applying to transfer to a better company in California?" he asked. Oh thank God.
I nodded." Well he got accepted. " he said with a worried expression. Why would he be unhappy. His father was trying for years to get in .
" That's great news Luke, I'm so happy for him." He sighed.
" No Skylar, " he let go if my hand," He's transfering to California....."
He pauses and I arched and eyebrow. Please don't say what I think you're gonna say. ..
" And I'm going with him." he let out.
No this cannot be happening. Luke's one of the persons who I trust the most and who was always there for me. He can't just pick up and go. Not after all the years we've had together and all the special memories we shared.
"Don't cry Sky, please." how am I not supposed to cry. This is a lot to take in!!
" When are you leaving? " was all I had the courage to say. He looked at me with an expression of guilt.
" Tuesday."
"What! !!" he was leaving Tuesday and he now decided to grow some balls and tell me. " And you now decided to tell me?!?!?"
That was when sadness turned into anger.
He was dumbfounded.
"Look it's a great opportunity over there, there's much more colleges and jobs and..."
" Or. I get it it's not only about your dad you want to move there too. You know I was thinking to not be so selfish but clearly I'm not the one who's being selfish."
He was going to add something but I cut him off,
" You know what don't! " he was clearly thinking about himself more than he was thing about his girlfriend. Wait that means....
"Well this was rather a nice attempt to try and close thing off Luke." Tears were now flowing effortlessly and I could tell he was feeling hell-a-guilty.
But I still had the courage to wrap things off, " Hope you enjoy life in California. "
With that I sped away, not bothering to look back at what I thought was Love. The worst part was I knew he didn't follow me even though I wish he would've.
