CHAPTER 21 EPILOGUE

Draped in a bright red banarasi saree loaded with jewelleries, alta on her hands and feet sitting infront of the mirror was bondita . Totally decked up as a bride. This look of her had many bittersweet memories for her.
At the age of 8 the way she has decked up how her mami has betrayed her , she was remembering that. But all thanks to her mami she met aniruddh and she knew she will again be ready to go through all the hardships if that meant meeting aniruddh.

Ugh! I sound like the lovesick heroine from cheesy opera dramas.
But I don't care.

She looked at herself in the mirror. She had an unusual glow on her face . Her cheeks pink.

Is this what people say to be in love ? She wondered.Her musings were broken by jiya and megha who came to inform her that it was time for the marriage for the final reunion for getting one of the best fruits of their struggle together.

Aniruddh was pacing to and fro in his room . He stopped infront of the mirror . He was no more the 19 year old rebellious angry teenager , he was a man now . A man who has seen many hardships many struggles . He has got many achievements but his biggest achievement is bondita . Her becoming a barrister was the most proudest thing of his life. He remembered the day he got married to her in those unfavourable conditions.

He chuckled. Who knew that unfavourable moment will turn his life so beautifully upside down?
Today he was going to marry her and that too happily.

A knock on his door brought him out of his reveries. There stood trilochan and binoy.
The same individuals who didn't like his bondita at first but bondita with her cheekiness, naughtiness and kindness has won their hearts. And kaka loved her on another level maybe even more than he loved aniruddh.

"Tab tumhari shaadi nahin dekh paaye the hum aniruddh par Aaj dekh paayenge " Trilochan caressed his hair gently.
"Agar Aaj tumhari maa Zinda hoti toh " Binoy who was mostly emotionless was emotional today.
Both trilochan and binoy has tears in their eyes and seeing them in this state made aniruddh's heart clench too. "Kaka , baba " He hugged them both.
Binoy was reminded of the moment he was born . The way he held them , he was so tiny and now he has become so big.
Trilochan remembered the time when his sister in law died , how he has took the responsibility of the three children and now they were so big.

Suddenly som and batuk too joined their group hug " Not without us "

Bihari stopped at the door. He has come to inform everyone that they were getting late but seeing this sweet moment he melted. He has seen all the happiness sadness difficulties the people of this house has faced. They had become his family. He only prayed for all of them to be strong together always.

He finally with a heavy heart broke their moment and took them for the marriage .

Their marriage was taking place in mihir's house as he insisted to do all the rituals.
Bor jaatri arrived at the bride's place where bondita's mother ,mihir and his father were waiting for them to welcome them. Bondita's mother did the aarti , fed them sweets and mihir gave aniruddh potto bostro(A clothing that is worn by the groom).

Aniruddh was taken to the mandap. And then the moment came which he was waiting from a long time. Bondita arrived, her face was covered with betel leaves . She was sitting on a stool which was carried by som , batuk, mihir and Hussain ( Yes , Hussain Adnan Khan). She was made to circle round aniruddh seven times and finally shubho drishti happened. Bondita removed the betel leaves from her face . Their eyes met . Numerous emotions were in them . They didn't speak but it felt like their eyes did all the talking.
And then bondita's lips curved into a beautiful smile which took aniruddh's breath away .

Aniruddh thought she was beautiful so beautiful but what made her even more beautiful was her smile her consent her willingness and her love for him . And aniruddh fell for her again this time even more harder .
