~ Bucket List ~
"Okay enough." She giggled and hid under the duvet but he wasn't satisfied yet.
"SUMEDH " She yelled when he tickled her once again.
"s...st...stop..." And he finally did laughing along her lying next to her.
"Damn, you're too cute." He said kissing her forehead.
"It feels so great with you, never thought marriage life would be so good." She said with admiration.
"Fights too happen in a normal household." He says
"why didn't we had one, it's been 1 week already to our marriage."
"you want us to fight?" He asks, she shrugs
"Maybe because we both know time is limited with us." She says and he focuses his attention to her.
"Mal-
"stop cutting me when I say the truth. My deployment can come anything and we both know how difficult it is going to be. So we don't pick up silly rights unlike other couples who stay with their partners 24/7. It's not the same case." She huffs.
"You took leave."
"I know but it was just 15 days."
"We still have a week, let's go somewhere." He suggests and her eyes shine.
"any ideas?" She stands up opening his cupboard and taking out a diary and from that a crumbled paper.
"This is my secret." She says walking back to the bed.
"My bucket list." Her eyes twinkled and Sumedh goes curious.
"Maybe sounds childish but I made this a long back ago, maybe in college. This is my peace, my world. And from today you're a part of it. We will complete this together, okay?" He smiled and takes a look of the list.
Long drive with your soulmate
Dancing in the rain
Kissing under a mistletoe
Beach party
Scuba diving
A vacation to Kashmir.......
The list continued for a couple of things more.
"what have you done until so far?"
"um...scuba diving only. I didn't got time once I joined my training you know. I thought I should forget but when I met you I know you can do it for me. " He frowns
"with you, not for you." She shakes her head.
"if something happens to me, you will continue this." He doesn't says anything but his face showed disappointment.
"I'm speaking the tr-
"Truth I know. But you constantly don't have to remind me that I can loose you any second. " He slams the door and leaves.
She sighs and sits down.
Her mind works and she plans out few things. She takes a laptop and book the tickets.
She walks to the living room and smiles seeing her husband reading a book upside down.
"ulti book padhne ka bhi talent hai mere shauhar ke paas, wah"
(My husband has a talent of reading book upside down, wow)
"I'm sorry." She holds her ears like a toddler and apologises.
"I promise I won't talk like that ever again." He sighs and nods. She grins and runs to hug him startling him.
"I doubt you're into army, sometimes you act worse than a kid." He shakes his head.
"oh please. And I've booked tickets to Kashmir, pack your bags."
"really?" She smiles and hugs him again.
"IT'S RAINING" They see by the window
"Let us complete the first thing of your bucket list today"
Dancing in the rain
He led her outside and they danced their hearts out. Some people were staring from their balconies, some got embarrassed, some filmed this cringe couple but nevertheless, it's nobody's business.

"KASHMIR HERE WE GO." Sumedh was embarrassed in the public. His wife was acting worse than a kid ever since yesterday's bookings. But nevertheless he picked up the bags and settled in the flight. 5 hours and they landed. They checked into the hotel as soon as Mallika saw the balcony, she screamed with joy.
"I CAN HEAR YOU, STOP SHOUTING" Sumedh yelled from the doorstep.
"JUST COME HERE" She yelled back in excitement.
And who could be calm, it was Kashmir after all.
Mallika had been definitely here millions of time for duty but didn't had time for a vacation or to relax.
"I can die for this view anytime" she says while Sumedh joined her.
"Order for lunch' she hums still gazing outside.
"and hot chocolate too" this turned her attention.
"But you don't like chocolate." she states in confusion.
"But you do" he smiles and wraps his hand around her.
"Aha, what did I do to deserve somebody like you?" she said dramatically.
"Some very good deeds" he chuckled and pressed a kiss to her forehead.
"Let me order first and go change. We're going out after that." she said picking up her phone and dialling the room service.

'JEWEL IN THE CROWN OF KASHMIR' it read.
"DAL LAKE, OH MY GOD ITS SO BEAUTIFUL" Mallika exclaimed gazing at the view.
"Jeez stop shouting woman, people are staring like you've gone mad. And lets go." he forwarded his hand and they sat into the boat side by side.
Hands in hands, smiling faces, the perfect view
They roamed in the Tulips garden when he tied a cloth around her eyes.
"Sumedh" she whined
"Just keep moving forward until 15 steps and then open your blindfold." she obeyed and moved carefully those 15 steps.
"I'm opening, you better not shoot me. My ghost will haunt you forever." he chuckled but didn't said anything.
Oh, what a lovely sight it was. A tulip in hand of your husband bent on one knee in the centre of a tulip garden IN KASHMIR.
"This is not a dream right." she kept a hand on her heart dramatically.
"girls are supposed to cry on proposals." he teased
"Oh, I'm unlike those girls Mister in case your forget." she stuck her tongue out.
"Okay, I don't have a huge speech but I want to be honest with you." he started.
"I never thought how beautiful love can be until this trip. Not because I came to this place, or somebody told me. I realised I'm becoming a different person with you. You inspire me to become better person, I get bold, naughty, cringe, experience every emotion with you, you bring out the hidden person in me which I didn't even knew honestly. A guy whose life was in finance and numbers craves everyday for some time with you, you make me mad yet sane at the same time. I think I'm crazy, madly, deeply, emotionally, mentally, psychologically, pathetically and mathematically in love with you. You think I'm crazy? Yes I am because you're the reason behind it. And this is for you my dear wife." A bouquet of Tulips right being offered to her by him after these lines.
