Opening of the Session
The session was opened by Sir Cedric, the Speaker of the Parliament, who welcomed all present to the Parliament of the Kingdom of Eldoria.
Approval of the Agenda
The agenda of the session was approved by the Members of the Parliament.
Announcements
King Thalion announced that the Kingdom of Eldoria had signed a peace treaty with the neighboring Kingdom of Dornia. The terms of the treaty were read out by the Chancellor.
Lady Elara informed the Parliament that the magical disturbances in the eastern forests had been contained and the situation was now under control.
Lord Theros reported that the recruitment of new soldiers for the Royal Army was going according to plan and that the army would be fully prepared to defend the Kingdom in case of any external threat.
Motions
Lord Arin proposed a motion to increase taxes on luxury goods to fund the construction of new roads and bridges throughout the Kingdom. The motion was seconded by Lady Elara.
Sir Cedric proposed a motion to allocate funds to improve the education system in the Kingdom, including the construction of new schools and the hiring of more teachers. The motion was seconded by Lord Theros.
Debate
The Members of the Parliament engaged in a lively debate on the two motions proposed. They discussed the pros and cons of each proposal and raised various concerns and questions.
Voting
