Opening of the Session
The session was opened by Sir Cedric, the Speaker of the Parliament, who welcomed all present to the Parliament of the Kingdom of Eldoria.
Approval of the Minutes
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved by the Members of the Parliament.
Announcements
King Thalion announced that the construction of the new hospital in the capital city was completed and ready to begin operations. The King also reported that the Kingdom's trade agreement with Carindor had been successful, with Eldorian goods being exported at a higher rate than before.
Lord Theros reported that the Royal Army had been successful in quelling a rebellion in the eastern region of the Kingdom. The Minister of Defense informed the Parliament that the situation was now under control, and that the rebels had been apprehended.
Lady Elara reported that the Ministry of Magic had received reports of a surge in dark magic activity in the western region of the Kingdom. The Minister of Magic informed the Parliament that the Ministry was investigating the reports and had deployed several teams to deal with the situation.
Motions
Lord Emeric proposed a motion to increase the funding for education in the Kingdom, with a focus on improving access to education for all citizens. The motion was seconded by Lady Abigail.
Lady Isadora proposed a motion to establish a new law that would regulate the use of magic within the Kingdom, with the goal of ensuring that magic is only used for lawful purposes. The motion was seconded by Lord Garrick.
Debate
