Minutes of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Eldoria

Present:
King Thalion, the ruler of Eldoria Queen Lirien, the wife of King Thalion Lord Arin, the Chancellor of Eldoria Lord Theros, the Minister of Defense Lady Elara, the Minister of Magic Sir Cedric, the Speaker of the Parliament Members of the Parliament
Opening of the Session
The session was opened by Sir Cedric, the Speaker of the Parliament, who welcomed all present to the Parliament of the Kingdom of Eldoria.
Approval of the Agenda
The agenda of the session was approved by the Members of the Parliament.
Announcements
King Thalion announced that the delegation from the neighboring Kingdom of Arvandor had arrived and that they would be meeting with him later that day to discuss trade and diplomatic relations.
Lady Elara informed the Parliament that the team of Aurors had successfully apprehended the group of dark wizards near the western border of the Kingdom and that they were being held in custody pending trial.
Lord Theros reported that the Royal Army had conducted a series of successful training exercises and that the soldiers were now better equipped and trained to handle any potential threats.
Motions
Lady Abigail proposed a motion to establish a scholarship program for underprivileged children to attend the new academy for the magical arts. The motion was seconded by Lord Emeric.
Lord Garrick proposed a motion to increase the number of border patrols along the western border of the Kingdom in light of the recent dark wizard activity. The motion was seconded by Lady Isadora.
Debate
The Members of the Parliament engaged in a lively debate on the two motions proposed. They discussed the importance of providing opportunities for all children to access quality education, as well as the need to maintain a strong presence along the western border to prevent any future dark wizard activity.
Voting
The two motions were put to vote and were both approved by the majority of the Members of the Parliament. Lady Abigail's motion to establish a scholarship program for underprivileged children was passed with a unanimous vote, while Lord Garrick's motion to increase the number of border patrols was passed with a narrow margin.
