Minutes of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Eldoria

Present:

King Thalion, the ruler of Eldoria Queen Lirien, the wife of King Thalion Lord Arin, the Chancellor of Eldoria Lord Theros, the Minister of Defense Lady Elara, the Minister of Magic Sir Cedric, the Speaker of the Parliament Members of the Parliament

Opening of the Session

The session was opened by Sir Cedric, the Speaker of the Parliament, who welcomed all present to the Parliament of the Kingdom of Eldoria.

Approval of the Minutes

The minutes of the previous session were read and approved by the Members of the Parliament.

Announcements

Lord Theros informed the Parliament that the Royal Army had successfully captured the rogue wizards who were plotting to overthrow the Eldorian government. The Minister of Defense commended the efforts of the Ministry of Magic and the Royal Army in ensuring the safety and security of the Kingdom.

Lady Elara reported that the Ministry of Magic had received reports of dark magic being practiced in the nearby village of Westwood. The Minister of Magic informed the Parliament that the Ministry was investigating the matter and urged the citizens to report any suspicious activity.

Lord Arin announced that the Eldorian merchants had reported a decline in trade with the neighboring Kingdom of Arindor due to the ongoing drought. The Chancellor of Eldoria informed the Parliament that the King had approved a delegation of aid to be sent to Arindor and asked for volunteers to lead the delegation.

Motions

Lord Garrick proposed a motion to establish a new tax on luxury goods to fund the Kingdom's schools and universities. The motion was seconded by Lady Abigail.

Lady Isadora proposed a motion to establish a new program to provide training and support for small business owners in the Kingdom. The motion was seconded by Lord Emeric.

Debate

The Members of the Parliament engaged in a lively debate on the two motions proposed. They discussed the potential benefits and drawbacks of a luxury goods tax, as well as the importance of supporting small businesses in the Kingdom.

Voting

The two motions were put to vote and were both approved by the majority of the Members of the Parliament. Lord Garrick's motion to establish a luxury goods tax was passed with a narrow margin, while Lady Isadora's motion to establish a small business support program was passed with a unanimous vote.
