“I'm going uninvited Arbaaz. What will your mother say...” - Zunera said as the gates of Sulaimaan Manor opened and they entered.

After doing groceries and setting up her fridge, Arbaaz finally succeeded in convincing her to go home with him. She was nervous ever since because she didn't want to put a bad first impression on her mother-in-law.

“You are not going uninvited jaannn... See, I'm a member of the family. And I'm inviting you home. So that's an invitation!” - he said, solving the problem cheerfully.

She gave him a ‘wifey’ look and he wiped the grin off his face like an obedient ‘husband’.

They got down the car and her nervousness skyrocketed.

“I am looking okay na ?” - she asked him for the millionth time.

She was wearing a harvest gold long shirt with white chooridaar and dupatta. Her hair was open, his favourite silver bangles gracing her wrists. He couldn't find a single flaw in her and had told her the same but she was not relaxing at any rate.

He walked towards her and gently tucked a hair strand behind her ear.

“You are looking breathtaking Zooni. So much that it's testing my patience.” - he whispered seriously, staring intently into her eyes.

Her eyes lowered as a blush crept up on her face and spread out on her neck, making his heart race. He placed his index finger under her chin and tilted up to make her meet his gaze.

He leaned in to kiss but heard footsteps and reluctantly took a step back. They turned towards the entrance door and saw Aadil, one of the servants, stepping out and making his way towards the servant quarters. He looked distressed which made Arbaaz frown and he decided to inquire later.

They both walked into the grand hall. As he had expected, no one was there.

“Nobody's home ?” - she asked frowning.

“They are. But they must be in the lawn for the evening tea.” - he informed, pointing towards the clock which showed half past 5. “A kind of a tradition. We gather in the lawn for evening tea daily and on a late breakfast every Sunday.”

She smiled hearing that. It felt good that despite being a family of businessmen, they all took time to spend time together.

“So... to the lawn then ?” - she asked with a smile.

“We will but first I have to give you something.” - he said with an excited smile.

She opened her mouth to ask what but he didn't let her and led her upstairs to his room.

“Arbaaz... what-”

“Sshhhh...” - he shushed her smiling and went towards the drawer of his bedside table.

She watched as he rummaged through it for a while before pulling out a phone and a big envelope. He returned to her with a bright smile and gave the phone to her.
