*The song playing at the restaurant*
~
Arbaaz stopped the car outside an elite restaurant and Zunera became conscious again. The people dining inside would be present in expensive clothes that'll match the ambience of the restaurant whereas her...
"Is this place okay or you wanna dine somewhere else ?" - Arbaaz asked her softly.
"This is nice but me..." - she trailed off nervously, pointing towards her dressing.
He became thoughtful and gave her a once over.
"Hmm... you are right. You are dressed too nicely for the restaurant to keep up with you." - he said calmly.
She blinked at him. At first she thought he was saying that to make her feel good but the honesty in his eyes told her he actually believed that. And she was, once again, at a loss of words.
"But I think they'll manage. Let's go." - he said smilingly and stepped down the car.
She quickly wiped the moisture from her eyes as he came around and opened the gate for her. She stepped down and hand in hand they entered the restaurant.
The place gave royal vibes. But it had a warmth that made her like it in an instant. She smiled. Of course. Arbaaz wouldn't go or take her to a showy place either.
"Good evening Sir! Good evening Ma'am!" - greeted a man in formals who looked to be the manager. "This way please."
They were guided to a series of staircase towards the rooftop and her mouth dropped open in a soft gasp as she took in the sight.
The entire top was glowing with golden fairylights. A table for two was set up in the middle which had glass candles and a rose vase. Soft music was also playing but she couldn't find the source of it.
"As you had asked Sir. It's reserved for you only. Hope you liked it." - the manager said and she looked at Arbaaz in surprise.
Instead of answering, Arbaaz turned to her with a smile.
"You liked it ?" - he asked. His gray eyes showering love on her.
She swallowed a lump in her throat and nodded her head. A smile coming over her face as well.
"I loved it." - she whispered. Her eyes fixed on him and everything around fading away.
His smile brightened and his hand came to rest at her waist as he led her towards the table. He pulled out her chair for her and she got seated. Only then he took his seat and the manager stepped forward to give them the menu.
"No, thank you." - Arbaaz refused to take the menu card with a smile. "The lady of the evening will decide for the both of us."
Her heart flip-flopped. He was smiling that soft smile of his. Gazing at her transfixed. Like nothing existed in the world besides her.
She closed the menu without even looking and returned it to the manager.
"Do you have Biryani here ?" - she asked him but her eyes were locked with Arbaaz.
"Yes Ma'am." - the manager replied and she smiled satisfactorily.
"A double plate please." - she said. The manager bowed his head and went away.
"A plate of Biryani ?" - Arbaaz asked, leaning forward and raising a brow at her.
"Don't worry. You wouldn't have to pay for it alone." - she said with a grin. Making him laugh heartily.
"Such a relief! It deserves a dance no ?" - he asked mischievously. His hands already grabbing hers over the table and they stood.
Like the pieces of a puzzle, his hands automatically went to her waist and hers on his shoulders, their noses touching as they swayed.
