Paulene lives in the year 1993. She is fifty years old and is a crazy plant lady.
Her favorites are orchids. She is married to a man named Rob. He's quiet and gentle. They have two kids named Luke and Carolyn. They are both thirty years old.
"Hey Rob," paulene said, "I'm going to go to the store to get some orchids."
This was something that happened often. It was orchids season and she wasn't going to miss the new hybrids.
As she entered the store, she saw a new hybrid she had never seen.
"A midnight speaking orchids. Hmm. I hope it doesn't speak all night," she said jokingly.
She checked it out and drove home.
After supper, she went the greenhouse to plant the orchids.
"Mm. Interesting," said an unfamiliar voice.
"Who said that?" She hesitantly asked.
"Me,"
She looked down. To her surprise, the orchid was talking.
Paulene fell backwards.
"Am I crazy?"
"No," Said the orchid.
"Why are you talking to me?"
"I have a message, you are the Earth and plant element."
"Element?"
"Yep. You have a mission to fulfil."
"What mission?"
"You'll find out soon."
