CH.8 Lucille

3rd Person POV

Lucille is twenty-four years old. She lives in the year 3067. At the age of eighteen, she was assigned birthmother. 

She despised it.

in six years she had given birth to six children, whom she won't meet.

Today was the day for her shot. the gave her a shot every year on her birthday. It instantly impregnated her. However, it was quite painful.

The day after her birthday, the birth leader, Lisa, called her into her office.

"Ms. Lucille, I'm afraid we're going to have to let you got from your position."

"But I'm pregnant."

"I realize this. We're going to let you have the baby, but this will be your last."

"Why are you firing me? I'm going to be homeless!"

"You're an element. We haven't had one in a thousand years. The leaders will kill you. We'll just say you're having complications with your baby, so I have to drop you. If I don't drop you, they'll figure it out. No one can replace you. You are meant to restore the population. And you have a mission to fulfill."

"What mission?"

"You'll find out soon."

Hey crabby patties! Sorry updates have been slow. I've been busy. I will be adding a new book called, "Lucid". This is my schedule, starting Monday. Monday: The Elementals, Tuesday: Lucid, Wednesday: The Elementals, Thursday: Lucid, Friday: The Elementals, and Saturday: Lucid. Sunday will be my break day, so no updates on Sunday.,
