Rose is an immigrant from Mexico.
She has dark skin, dark short hair, and is short.
Rose is nine years old and lives in the year 2011.
Rose loves the sunshine in Florida, where she lives.
A perfect day for her is spending all the day in the sunshine with a book and a glass of lemonade.
Her mother, Raquel, was the one usually home. Her father was usually away from home on business trips.
One day the sun spoke to her.
"Rose,"said the sun.
"Who said that?"Rose asked.
"Me, the sun,"
"What the!"
"Don't overreact, I'm just here to tell you that you're the sunshine element and you have a mission to fulfil."
"What mission?"
"You'll find out soon."
