Heart of consistency
First, your prayers are never in vain before God. God never ignored the prayers, cries and pleads of His daughters
I encourage you not to give up. Not to back down. Not to call it quits. Not to believe the lies of the enemy saying God is ignoring you, saying He isn't listening to you, and saying God isn't near to you.
Pursue God anyway. Seek God anyway and keep pushing.
You can tell when a man is serious about a woman by the level of pursuit He does. He will consistently try to spend more time with her and be with her. Similarly, our seriousness towards God is shown through our consistency.
Hebrews 11:6

6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
