One half of the way
Find it near the kikwi place
You're not dead yet Nate

I open my eyes. I'm falling through the air above the Faron region. Until I realise how close I am to Lake Floria and plunge into its depths before I can say kikwi. Re-emerging, I realise i'm stuck. The only exit is the platform above me, shut off by a magic gate.

I spin in circles to find a way out until I see a parella circling below me. I gain its attention and tell it my predicament. Its glad to help me, creating an upsurge of water that carries me to the platform above. Strange. Most parella I've seen were incapable of powers like that.

A block falls out of the sky, trapping me between it and the gate a few meters ahead. It starts moving towards the gate as if to crush me. What do I do? I can't climb it, even if i could the movement would throw me off and whoa, are those spikes?! Barely two meters between the spike wall and the gate and time is running out.

I remember the way Link opened it about a year ago. I mimic his movement and then light emits from my standard issue knight's sword that was definately incapable of anything magic until today. The shape, its the circle that's part of Farore's symbol. The gate opens shortly before the spike wall stops behind me, barely impaling my back before it disappears into thin air. What a relief.

No time to dawdle. Zelda and Link are waiting. I run to the Kikwi elder, situated next to the great tree in the center of Faron Woods.

"I was told to come to you, apparently I'm halfway through a clue hunt, which in actuality seems more like a trial"

At the word 'trial' the Kikwi elder immediately goes into detail explaining about how the silent realm has been made available for me to access. I panic. Oh no. Not the silent realm.

Its the one place that Link found the most challenging. I mean sure, swinging large swords at an ancient automaton is one thing, but exposing your soul and risking your very existence to the point where its so fragile it would shatter from one hit is the hardest trial Link had to undergo.
And it was Link alone who triumphed. I'd never been allowed to even take a glance at the horrors that lie within, I've trusted that Link's experience is as true as he makes it out to be.

The elder instructs me to climb to the summit of the tree where the kikwi hermit, Yerbal awaits.

As I start my ascent, im surprised that Yerbal is still alive, especially since the water dragon swore to hunt him down last i remember.

I wonder how Link and Zelda are doing, they probably made a date out of waiting for me.

I reach yerbal. Still as nervous as ever. The water dragon could easily track him down but is still healing it seems. I guess Ghirahim's goons really did a number on her to require so long to heal.

Yerbal tells me that the entrance can be opened with a special pendant and says he senses it on my person. I check all my adventure pouches and don't find it until I have a sneaking suspicion that it may have something to do with my shield and remove it from my back to inspect. Sure enough, tucked into the handles so small and secretive was the pendant. Shining dull shades of turquoise and lavender, I remove it from its hiding spot and hold it out for yerbal to inspect.

"Yes, that is it. Now you must climb to the platform on the very top. Follow the path of the vines and it should take you there" Yerbal tells me after briefly inspecting the pendant.

I do as he says and after a very strenuous final push to the strangely unfamiliar canopy platform I spot the circle. It was similar to the ones Link played the goddess harp near then thrust his sword into, remaining unconscious in that position until his spirit returned from the silent realm. This one slightly different though. A dull shade of lavender and with slightly different markings. I stand near it and take out the pendant. It lights up slightly but still needs activating properly, it seems.
