Hikari POV

The crowd are excited for the next challenge, and I feel same way a little. After all, working with others would be a lot harder then trying to keep only himself away from others. So that would make this next challenge a hard one. Good, that last challenge wasn't a challenge at all.

Midnight: Now then, I will explain the rules of the cavalry battle.

She flourishes her whip at the hologram which shows how the challenge will go.

Midnight: The time limit is fifteen minutes. Each team is worth the total of it's members points, and the rider will wear a headband with that number on their foreheads. Teams will try to grab each other's headbands until time runs out, and try to keep as many points as they can. Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up. So the more you steal, the harder it'll be to manage them! And the most important thing is that even if your headband gets stolen, or if your team falls, you're not out!

Yaoyorozu: Which means...

Sato: ... Since there are 42 people, there will be ten or twelve teams on the field the whole time?

Aoyama: That's tough.

Hikari: It's a challenge is what it is. It's been a while since I've had a good one.

Yaoyorozu: Didn't you fight that strong villain during the USJ?

Hikari: My quirk was acting strange that day, otherwise the battle would have been easier.

Ashido: One strategy could be to let someone take your points first so you'll be more free.

Asui: It's hard to say without seeing how all the points end up getting split up, Mina.

Midnight: During the game, it'll be a cruel fight where you can use your quirks. But it is still a cavalry battle. You'll get a red card for attacks that are trying to make people fall on purpose! You'll be removed immediately!

Bakugo: Damn.

Ryokugyu: Yeah, that sucks. Was looking forward to that.

A 15 minute timer appears on the screen behind Midnight.

Midnight: Now, you have fifteen minutes to build your teams. Start!

All the students start to scramble for teammates as Hikari just stands still for a moment, trying to figure out what his next move should be.

Hikari: If I'm going to have a team, I should make sure that someone is good at planning. But who here would be best at that...

I make up my mind and go find Midoriya, who seems to be thinking deeply about something.

Hikari: Midoriya.

He seems startled for a second before looking over to me.

Midoriya: Oh, Hikari. What is it?

Hikari: I've seen how well you can assess a situation that you're in. I was thinking it'd be a good idea if we teamed up together.

Midoriya: Huh, with me?

He points to himself in a questioning manner.

Hikari: Yeah, I'm not really the type to come up with the plans. I figured you'd be helpful to come up with things like that during the challenge.

Midoriya: Right then, I'll do my best to help you! I guess I can leave the fighting to you then Hikari?

Hikari: Yeah, I'll make sure to keep all the other teams away, just tell me whatever you think is best to do.
