"So, now what?" she asked.

"Well, for starters, I'd like your number?" he said with a smile.

Relief flooded her body. He wanted her number. He wasn't angry at her for not believing him. Liam still wanted to see her! He grabbed his phone as she rattled out her phone number. "I'm not even going to try to spell 'Evangeline'" he joked. "What do people call you?"

"They call me Evangeline." She said. "It's my name. I like it."

"Surely your parents don't call you that! Its hard to yell! My mom can rattle off 'Nicola, Ruth, Liam! Get in here!' in seconds. There is no way she yells that." He stated

Evangeline sighed. "Fine. She calls me Eva. But I don't like it. I want to be called Evangeline."

"Okay, Love, Evangeline, I mean!" he said, holding up a hand in an apologetic way. "Evangeline. I'll send a text to your phone. Then you'll have mine."

Phone! Her phone! Dylan. Where was she? At that moment, she heard her ringtone downstairs. "Dylan! Are you home?" she called. She heard Dylan crash her way upstairs. There was simply no other way to describe her manner of traveling. She was loud. She was the first one people noticed when they walked into a room. She was Dylan.

Breathless, Dylan dashed to Evangeline's room and grabbed her into a huge bear hug. "I was so worried about you, Eva! Where did you go? You didn't even have your phone! What happened? Are you ok?" she rattled off.

"Eva, uh?" laughed Liam.

Dylan looked up from her hold on Eva and froze.

She looked up at Liam, back at Eva and back to Liam. "Do you know who that is?" she asked Eva. "DO YOU KNOW WHO THAT IS?"

Eva, embarrassed, gave Dylan a death look and said "Dylan, meet Liam. He brought me home safe. And yes, I know who he is. I brought him here to check your poster. He's not curly anymore."

Liam laughed and reached his hand out to Dylan. "Nice to meet you." he said.

Dylan, still frozen in place, nodded. Eva shook her arm and forced her out of the room. "Goodnight, Dylan." She said, forcefully and closed the door of her room and turning the lock. She turned back to Liam. "Sorry. I told you she was a fan."

Liam waved his hand, as if brushing it off. "I'm used to it, Evie. It's fine."

"Evangeline!" she stated.

Liam rolled his eyes, laughed and said, "Fine. Whatever. What are we going to do now? You've locked me in!"

Eva knew it wasn't safe to let him out. Dylan was still heavy breathing in the hallway. She looked around her tiny room. She had a single bed, a dresser, a chair and a TV. That was all. Her bedroom had no windows, except for the one in her tiny bathroom. It was the reason she had picked this flat. Private bathroom. At least it was clean, she thought. At least it was clean.

"We could watch a movie, until she calms down or passes out?"

Liam nodded in agreement, took off his jacket and laid it on the chair. "Shoes?" he asked. She nodded and walked toward the bathroom.

"I'm just going to change." She said and darted inside, closing the door behind her. She turned, leaned and against the door, placed her hands over her mouth and screamed a silent scream. Flapping her hands in front of her face, she noticed that she was flushed. "Calm down, dummy! Calm down." She thought. "You can't be like this." She took a deep breath, trying to relax. Her hands reached down and pulled off the black "clubbing" dress Dylan had let her borrow. She had sweat pants and a t-shirt in here. She pulled them onto her body and opened the door.
