Chapter 31

Beomgyu

We chatted while waiting for Y/n to come back. I don't know the reason but she was taking a long time to come back. I started worrying for her. I wish I knew that she feared the dark. Maybe I wouldn't make that stupid dare up. I'm getting chills. What if something happened to her?

"Hey, don't you guys think that Y/n is taking a long time?" Eunchae asked concerned.

"That's what I was about to say" Soobin joined in.

"Should we go look for her?" Sakura asked.

"I'll go, stay here" I stood up from my place and walked towards the dark path way. I started speeding up as I came closer to the oak tree.

I then saw Y/n laying on the ground.

I ran towards her.

"Y/n! What happened!? Are you okay!?" I helped her get up. I took out my phone and turned on the flashlight while aiming it at Y/n to see her face clearly.

I saw her face a bit puffy. She had been crying.

"What's wrong?" I said while holding her shoulders.

"Everything" she started crying even more.

"How about we talk about it back at the villa? I'm here to listen to you" I hugged her.

"Get up, let's go back" I helped her get back.

She started wiping her tears and we walked back to where eveyrbody was. Eunchae got up and ran to hug Y/n who's was face all red now.

Eunchae didn't question her and just brought her back to the couch where everybody was throwing worried faces to Y/n.

"What happened to your knee?" Yunjin said shocked.

"I tripped" Y/n spoke.

"I'm blaming it on Beomgyu" Taehyun told.

All the others agreed with Taehyun while humming.

"Hey! I didn't know! I'm sorry" I looked at Y/n.

"It's alright. I could've backed out but I didn't" Y/n said and Sat down.

Then they all chatted and chatted. Talking about their plans for tomorrow.

"I wanted to go Bungee jumping"
Y/n said while stretching, showing signs that she's tired

"I saw a Bungee jumping area when we were coming here" Sakura told.

"We should go there for tomorrow then!"

"I'm backing out, I have acrophobia" Taehyun said. So did all the others. None wanted to jump expect for me and Y/n.

"I guess we two will go and you guys can sit down and eat while we're at it?" I asked them.

"Thats good" they agreed

"I'm sleepy. Shouldn't we sleep?" Eunchae said.

"Right, we need sleep to regain energy" Yeonjun stood up and told everybody to sleep.

Everybody scurried to their room while Me and soobin went to ours.

I plopped on the bed as Soobin wore his clothes.

"I'll go brush my teeth" Soobin said while entering the bathroom connected to our room.

"Kay, I'm going downstairs for a while" I said and stood up.

But first, I had to change my outfit. I got a black t-shirt and Grey pants out and wore them.

I then went down the stairs and Sat on the couch that had a huge screen facing it.

As I sighed, I heard a metal spoon drop to the ground. I looked back and saw Y/n making herself a drink.

"You're not asleep?" I stood up and went near her.

"I need coffee" she said while mixing the coffee.

"But then you won't be able to sleep?" I asked. She nodded.

"I don't plan on sleeping" she said while placing the coffee on the coffee table that was right infront of the couch.

"May I ask why?" I sat down on the couch and signaled her to sit.

"Nightmares. I don't want them. I'll just stay awake" she Sat down and came closer to me as she spoke.

"You know, you shouldn't care about your nightmares since they're just your dreams, but if they're really bothering you, you can rant to me" I said while looking at her.

"I have this tall creepy figure that pops up every dream. And it felt like I saw it today near the oak tree." She spoke. I listened carefully to what she had to say.

"How long has this been happening?" I asked Y/n.

"Since first grade. I had to get high scores so my mother would be proud of me. But she was never proud, so she'd lock me in a dark basement. Whenever I was locked there, I always heard noises which made my mind make a random tall creepy figure.." she said while rubbing her right arm with her left one.

"Have you ever tried fighting off the figure off your mind?" I asked her. Not sure how to help her.

"Not really." She spoke.

"Then you should try it today, everything's going to be alright after your nightmares are gone" I pulled her in by holding her waist.

"I'll try doing that I guess.." she said as she took a sip of her coffee.

She places the coffee back and turned her head to me. Did I do something?

"What?" I asked her.

"Nothing" she said and gave me a peck on the cheeks. My cheeks then slowly turned red.

"Goodnight" she smiled and stood up, but I pulled her back.

"Come on! You're leaving this early?" I made her sit back down.

"I'd stay back if you said so! You don't have to pull me" she said while fixing her sitting position.

"Didn't have the confidence to say that, but I'm glad you're back" I smiled at her.

"Whatever" she sighed and laid her head on my shoulder.

After a while of our random conversations, Y/n fell asleep on my shoulder with her head leaned on.
