The race was about to start. I'm gonna beat this girl in no time.

The teacher yelled as the boys from the back started running. The girls were completely slow. I mean, what did you expect? It's eunchae. The girl that has the worst experience in sports.

The 2nd boy was already running towards me and I was getting ready.

The girl named Y/n was still waiting for the girl to reach her. She did look serious though. However, it's not like she has a chance to win against me.

The boy finally reached me and I started running.
As I was running Y/n caught up from my back. There's no way she can pass me.

Nevermind. She did pass me. She was running really fast. I doubted the wrong person. I regret saying that to her now. She's gonna mock me and make me look like a loser.

I can't think of this right now. I have to run fast.

I hurriedly reached her and we fought for the finish line.

"Ah-!" She fell down while running.

Shit what do I do!?

I can't have the others call me a simp.

But I have to help her. I looked back to see her knee bleeding a lot. Did she really fall that hard!?

I stopped and ran back to help her.

I was lending her a hand but then she said "it's fine, go win your stupid race." she got up and made her way back to the bench.

I really did hurt her feelings.

"Alright that's enough! Girls, take her to the nurse's office and get her treated" the teacher said as she blew on the whistle making the race stop.

Eunchae helped her and the other girls trailed behind her.

"I really didn't fall that hard why do I need treatment!?" She said as she tried to back away from going to the nurse's office.

Pfft. She was cute.

"Shut up! Look at your knee! It's bleeding like hell!" The girl behind eunchae said.

I don't exactly know her name. I only know eunchae from the girls.

We got to the nurse's office and she bandaged up my knee making the bleeding stop.

"Ah my dear! Be more careful next time, I don't like seeing anybody suffer from bleeding!" She said. She wasn't the type of nurse who would just give you a bag full of ice packs but actually take care of you.

Her words were also sweet. I'd never leave this school. This is my happy place now. I'd rather get injured to hear her sweet words.

"You're all done! Get going dear!" She patted my head. Eunchae helped me up like I had a broken leg.

We made our way to scienes class.

All of the teachers were really nice. Something my mom could never do.

We got to the class and the teacher gasped as she saw the bandages. Why though? It isn't that big.

"Oh Sweetie what happened to your knee!?" She said in a worried tone. Was it common gor teachers to act like this here?
