Game 123

District 12

Ruby Redridge would be performing the reapings this Games, and stood in front of the youths. She made a brief speech about how fun it was to be a victor, before reaching into the female bowl. She removed a slip of paper, and read aloud the name of sixteen year old Insula Gorlix. Two screams were heard as Joy Gorlix, who had been reaped for the 120th Games but had been abducted by the world alliance screamed as her daughter was brought to the stage. Insula had two plaits of blonde hair, and blue eyes. Insula had two older brothers and a sister. She tearfully shook Ruby's hand, and Joy walked over and stood next to her and held her hand.

Ruby then selected a male name from the bowl, choosing a slip of paper with the name of eighteen year old Barak Pryce on it. A tall young man with ebony skin and dark braids of hair walked to the stage, and shook Ruby's hand. Barak had moved from District 11 to 12 when his parents took up the medical business. He had two older sisters and a brother.

After visits with family, Insula and Barak were taken to the train, where they met their mentors, Katniss Mellark and Asa Henry (Game 119). Katniss taught Insula how to use a bow and arrows, while Asa taught Barak how to use a spear.

Halfway through the ride, Katniss turned on the television to show District 8's reaping, saying that they were underdogs, just like District 12.

District 8

Ruby reached into the female bowl without any speech, removing the name of thirteen year old Viyella Gordon. A loud scream of horror was heard as a small girl with one long light brown plait and blue eyes walked to the stage. Ruby gently grasped the girl's hand and shook it, and complimented her on her purple lace dress.

Ruby then reached into the male bowl, and selected the name of fourteen year old Tweed Berrick. A loud scream of horror was heard as Ava Berrick (Game 81) cried as her son was brought to the stage. Ava had had Tweed in a surprise pregnancy at the age of 47, which turned out to be healthy. Ava already had seven other children, four boys and three girls, most of whom were already adults. Tweed had brown hair with side swept bangs and green eyes. He shyly shook Ruby's hand and smiled at her.

After sorrowful visits with family, Tweed hugging his mother as she cried and Viyella being comforted by her brother, both were taken straight to the train, where they met their mentors Aimee Berrick (Game 113) and Wigan Freeman (Game 115). Aimee and Wigan taught Viyella and Tweed how to throw knives, which both got good at quickly.

Upon arrival at Snow Station, it was 1 in the morning, and Tweed and Viyella were taken straight to the station,

The next day at 2 in the afternoon, Aimee turned on the television to show District 3's reaping, claiming that this District saw the smartest youths, who were good with electronics.

District 3

Ruby made a polite speech commending Varietta Volker and Electron Astley, who had won the previous Games alongside herself and two others, before reaching into the female bowl and selecting a slip of paper. She selected the name of seventeen year old Helvetica Porter. A girl with pale skin, strawberry blonde hair down straight and blue eyes walked to the stage. Helvetica was the second of three children, and had two brothers. She shook Helvetica's hand.

Ruby then selected a slip of paper from the male bowl, and chose the name of eighteen year old Hacker Shaw. A tall young man with bright ginger hair and green eyes walked to the stage, and shook the hand of Ruby. Hacker was the eldest of three, and the only son.

After visits with family, the tributes were taken to the train, where they met their mentors, Varietta Volker and Electron Astley (Game 122) who were impressed with the taser and electrical skills of Helvetica and Hacker.
