Today I woke up earlier than usual, it's not really common for me to wake up early, I'm not a morning person.
The reason for that is, today was the Annual Fair. Manny was up at 7 am to finish his cake for the cake contest and he was being really noisy which is why I couldn't go back to sleep. So, I made myself useful and went for an hour long run. Then I took a shower and got ready.
And now we're in the car on our way to the fair, sitting next to Manny and his giant Hollywood cake, which smelled amazing. It was hard to contain myself from eating a piece.
I was listening to music on my earphones when Jay suddenly stopped. I didn't even realize we were at the parking lot already.
"What are you gonna do now, pal?" Jay asked the man in the other car, they had both pulled up at the same parking spot.
"About to ask you the same thing" The man replied, sticking his head out of the window to look directly at Jay.
"Did you not see my blinker?" Jay asked, pointing at it so the man would see.
"Nope"
Gloria looked at Manny and I through the rearview mirror. Rolling her eyes and gesturing her head at Jay. Which in response we both rolled our eyes and laughed.
"Okay, this is gonna take long, let's go kids" Gloria said as she unfastened her seat belt and opened her door, gesturing for us to do the same.
So that's what we did. I helped Manny with his cake as we got out of the car, and Gloria and I went with him to the cake contest table. Jay, after finally parking the car, came up to us.
"You know, Manny, I'm just gonna say this one last time" Jay started, as we walked up to the contest table.
"I doubt that" Gloria commented, definitely starting up an argument between her and Jay over Manny's cake contest and as to how he should be with the other kids instead of baking with older people.
"Well, I'm going to see if I can find Rose, I'll see you guys later" I said, not wanting to be in the middle of the argument.
"Okay, but remember we are meeting at the parking lot at five, okay?" Gloria said, pointing her finger at me.
"Don't worry, I'll be there" I said as I started to walk away.

After walking around the fair saying hi to some of the girls from my team and some people from school as I tried to find Rose or any of my friends, with no luck by the way. I finally saw Alex.
"Alex! Hey, how are you?" I said as I walked up to her.
"Ceci! Hi! I'm good, I was actually trying find Sienna" Sienna was this new girl at school in Alex's year, I've seen her around the halls a few times. I'm glad they are friends, Alex usually spends all free time at the library and since Sienna arrived I'm seeing her more often outside of it.
"I'll help you find her. I was also trying to find Rose but I'm starting to think that maybe she's not here" I said. Rose texted me yesterday saying that maybe she was going to spend the weekend at her grandparents in Texas but she wasn't sure of it yet. So I'm guessing she ended up going there.
"Hey! There you guys are" A new voice said from behind us.
"That doesn't sound like Sienna" Alex said looking at me before turning around to see who it was.
We turned around and saw Luke approaching us with a grin on his face.
"Yep, definitely not Sienna" I said, crossing my arms.
