The city lights shine bright

In the dark night

The stars almost don't shine

The blind, arrogant lights

Coming from the stores of the boulevard

Don't let the stars shine as bright

As they always have

The frivolous city lights

Shine arrogantly upon the materialistic ladies

Who fill their pockets with debts

Buying dresses they'll never wear

They walk in and out

Talking extremely loud

Acting as if no-one minds

That they're shouting in the dead night

Is past midnight and I can't sleep

As this ladies continue to shout

Things no-one gives a damn about

They're standing under the 'spotlight'

Right under the city lamps

Acting as if this world was their stage

Of course they scream and shout

Is not them who has to hear them out

I think as I run the faucet

A bowl under the pouring water

This narcissisistic ladies are about to find out

Why you shouldn't stand under a lamp

Admist a boulevard

While you shout in the dead of the night

As the cold water hits their heads

They squeal and wake up

The few people who slept

Dogs bark in the neighbourhood

I don't think they'll ever come back

They scream again and again

That whoever who did it shall pay

But the doctor from across the streets

Only cares about a good night sleep

After a twenty four hours shift

So from the balcony of his house

He shouts back

Words that should not be repeated

In no other night

The blinding city lights

Put the frivolous ladies in the spolight

Showing them the world is not their stage

Heavily ashamed

They drag their asses back to the hotel

Under the stupid city lights...
