~A/N~ It's been over a year since I've updated this story... Oops... (The last update was February of 2022). I hope people are still reading this, I'm sorry that It's taken me so long. I currently have 24 WIP and I just keep getting more ideas. I have a few fics that I feel could be finished quickly so I'm going to focus on those so I can finish those and not have anxiety over everything~

"Nat…" Tony looked at the redhead concerned, considering the fact that in all the years he's known Natasha he has never seen her cry. "Is everything okay…"

Ignoring him, Natasha slowly walked over to Kira and knelt down in front of her. "Kira…?"

"I thought her name was Katarina?" Banner asked, confused.

Natasha shook her head. "No…" She went to touch Kira's cheek but she flinched away, glaring at Natasha.

"Don't touch her!" Elena shouted. "How do you know her?"

Standing up, Natasha glanced around the room. "Um… It's a long story…" She turned back to Kira. "If we untie you, will you promise not to attack?"

Kira glanced over at Yelena, then at her teammates, then at the Avengers, and then finally she looked back at Natasha. They might outnumber the Avengers 6-5, but she needed to think about the safety of the girls, and she didn't think fighting would be wise. "Promise" She said, nodding.

"Nat-"

Again, Natasha ignored Tony and started untying her, while Steve and Clint untied the others.

Elena and Niki both immediately went into protective mode and prevented either of the other Avengers from going near Vera and Mila, untying the two younger girls themselves.

"Stand down," Kira said to them, rubbing her wrists.

Kneeling down in front of Kira again, Natasha studied her, taking in all her features. "You're so beautiful…" She said as her eyes started to water again. "Do you know who I am…?"

"Natalia Alianovna Romanova, more commonly known as Natasha Romanoff or Black Widow. Formerly from the Red Room. Member of the Avengers, Master Assassin, Shield Agent. Biological daughter of Ivan Romanoff. Adoptive daughter of Melina Vostokoff and Alexei Shostakov. Adoptive sister of Yelena Belova" Kira listed off before finishing with "And certainly no mother of mine"

As she listed off everything she knew about Natasha, the Avengers were shocked, but they had the shock of their lives when she said that last sentence. Though no one was more shocked than Elena, Niki, Mila, and Vera

"Nat… What is she talking about?" Tony asked, looking between the two of them unsure.

For the third time, Natasha ignored him. "Kira…" Natasha looked at her sadly. "I'm so sorry… I didn't mean for you to get taken into… Whatever this program is…"

Kira looked at her blankly. "But you still gave me up… You'd think after being sterilized in the Red Room, that when you actually end up conceiving a child then you'd, I don't know, want to keep her?!"

"Wait-" Steve said, stopping either of them from saying anything else. "Natasha, is what she said true? Are you her… Mother…?"

Sighing, Natasha nodded. "Yes…" She sat down in one of the chairs. "Around nineteen years ago, Clint and I were sent on a mission in Budapest. After we completed it, we had to hide from the authorities in a vent for ten days. After a while, we got bored and… You know… A few months later, I found out I was pregnant, which I didn't even think was possible after being sterilized in the Red Room… But I was… And Clint and I talked about it for a while and we thought that…" Natasha's eyes started to water again. "We thought it would be best to give her up for adoption, for her own safety… If anyone ever found out that she was the daughter of two Avengers, one of which being Black Widow, then she would be a target for her entire life… We thought it was the best thing to do… It killed us… But we had to make sure you were safe…"

"So that's what happened in Budapest!" Tony said, causing everyone to roll their eyes at him.

"That didn't work out now did it?" Kira asked, glaring at her. "I was kidnapped from wherever you put me and taken into this program that tortures, rapes and starves young girls, sends them on dangerous missions, puts them through torturous tests, and then breeds them to get new blood and starts the cycle all over again." She crossed her arms. "I hope you're happy. Best plan my ass" She said, rolling her eyes.

"Kira…" Clint said to her for the first time since he found out she was his daughter. "Please… We had no way to know that was going to happen… If we did we would have never sent you away…"

Banner leaned towards Tony. "You know now that I think about it, she really does look like Clint and Natasha…"

Tony nodded. "It's uncanny"

Kira stood up suddenly, startling the others. "WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE PUT MORE THAN THREE SECONDS OF THOUGHT INTO IT AND REALIZE THAT YOUR DAUGHTER WOULD HAVE BEEN SAFER WITH HER AVENGER PARENTS THAN AWAY FROM THEM!" She yelled. After taking a few breaths to calm herself, she shook her head. "I don't need you. I don't want you in my life. Now if you'll excuse me, we have to get going. We have a program to get back to and a punishment I have to endure while trying to get them-" She motioned to her team. "-out of it"

To say Kira was pissed would be an understatement. Kira was beyond pissed… There were no words to describe how angry she was. She has gone through more torture in the program than the girls in the Red Room will ever see in their entire lives, all because these two assholes thought that she would be safer without the Avengers. And now they come back into her life, thinking that she'll forgive them and they'll just be a happy family and all her trauma will just be gone, like POOF! She hated them more than she hated the people who ran the program, more than she hated the people who took her into the program, more than she hated the people who sold Elena, Niki, Mila, and Vera into the program.

Clint shook his head. "You're not leaving. We're not letting you go back to that horrible place! We'll protect you from whoever you think will come after you"

Kira scoffed. "Cause you've done such a good job at protecting me so far… I. Don't. Need. You. All I need is me and my girls"

With tears in her eyes, Natasha grabbed Kira's hand. "Please… Just give us a chance…"

Kira snatched her hand away, still glaring at her. "I would rather endure my punishment in the program than spend one more minute here…"

"What if we don't let you leave? What if we have Jarvis put the whole place on lockdown?" Clint asked.

Shrugging, Kira looked at him emotionlessly. "Then… I guess there will be bloodshed…"
