Olivia PoV:
I went downstairs after Natasha. My hair was definitely a little messy and my lipstick a little smudged but I didn't care. It's not like it was a secret that we were dating.

Most the guests had left now and I was walking Lance to his car.

"Olivia." He abruptly said as we got to his car.

"Lance." I replied a little concerned at the seriousness in his tone.

"I love you." He told me, pulling me in for a tight hug.

"I love you too mate but why are you telling me?" I questioned as I pulled away to see tears in his eyes. "Lance what's wrong?"

"Nothing, nothing. I'll tell you another time." He said and I knew not to push him.

"Alright." I huffed as he opened his car door. "Have a safe trip home." I told him and he gave me a shaky smile in response.

I went back up to the others who were talking about Thors hammer.

"Whatever, man! It's a trick." Clint stated while playing drumsticks.

"Please, be my guest." Thor challenged

"Oh this is going to be beautiful." Rhodey joked making me laugh a little.

"Clint, you've had a tough week. We won't hold it against you if you can't get it up." Tony sarcastically assured him making everyone laugh.

"You know I've seen this before, right?" Clint said overly confident. He grabbed the handle and pulled as hard as he could. The hammer didn't budge.

"I still don't know how you do it!" He laughed, accepting defeat.

"Smell the silent judgment?" Tony asked as I took another sip of my drink.

"Please, Stark, by all means." Clint offered knowing Tony couldn't say no to a challenge.

The billionaire stood up, unbuttoning his suit jacket, while everyone groaned. "Never one to shrink from an honest challenge." He stated.

"Yeah we know." I mumbled under my breath so only Natasha could hear.

"It's physics." Tony explained as he put his wrist through the loop at the end of the handle. "Right so if I lift it, then I rule Asgard?" The man confirmed.

"Yes of course." Thor replied before taking a sip of his beer.

"I will be reinstituting prima nocta." He stated and I scoffed.

"I need the bathroom." I told everyone before hurrying off.

I got in the bathroom and locked the door behind me. I stared at myself in the mirror until my eyes flicked over to the tattoo I got for my dad.

My eyes filled with tears but I blinked them away when I heard knocking at the door.

"It's Maria, I need to talk to you." She told me and I unlocked the door and opened it to reveal a very nervous looking Maria.

"Yeah sure. Can we go on the balcony though, I need some air." I questioned and she nodded. I closed the door to the balcony behind us and we walked to the edge.

"I'm so sorry I didn't tell you sooner," She apologised and I waited for her to continue. "Your dad, Coulson, he's alive." She told me and I sarcastically chuckled.

"Bullshit." I scoffed while clenching my fists, letting my nails dig into the palm of my hand.

"Why would I lie about that?" Maria replied making me shrug.

"I don't know but do you know how fucked up you are for saying that like it's nothing!" I yelled at her before storming over to the elevator.

"Liv, what's wrong?" Natasha asked as she grabbed my hand trying to calm me down.
