"What if im not healthy enough?"

Oriana PoV:
"Natasha, love, wake up." I told the redhead who was peacefully sleeping. She began to stir awake. "I'm leaving now but I will be back soon. I love you" I said before giving her a kiss on the forehead and going to put my shoes on.

I went downstairs to find Yuliya already waiting at the door eating a pop tart . "Hurry up." She groaned as I put my doc martens on.

"I'm coming." I chuckled as I pushed her out the front door, and walking out it myself before locking it behind us.

The entire drive there we sung to Taylor Swift. "Ok now your venturing from the nest," I over-exaggerated. "we need a code word for if your in danger. Olive. If your in danger text/call me saying olive. Fucking email me for all I care." I stated and she nodded.

"Ok. I will see you later. I love you" She replied giving me a hug and getting out the car.

"I love you too." I said before watching her walk into the school.

I drove back home to find Natasha ready for the day, doing a puzzle in the living room. "We still have about half an hour until we need to leave and I'm gonna get changed because I'm still in my pyjamas." I explained and she got up and walked over to me and gave me a kiss.

"You look nervous." Natasha stated while resting her hands on my hips. Sometimes I hated how much the woman knew me.

"What if I'm not healthy enough?" I asked and she sighed.

"You will be and if you aren't then we'll make you healthy enough." She assured me as my eyes filled with tears.

"Are you still gonna love me when I'm fat?" I cried making Natasha laugh.

"Yes, of course I am." The redhead chuckled while wiping my tears. "I love you no matter how fat you get. I don't care about stretch marks, I actually think they're hot."

"Really?" I questioned in disbelief as my tears dried up.

"Really." She confirmed before giving me another kiss.

I got changed into grey joggers and a white tank top before putting my hair in a ponytail. I did natural makeup before going downstairs.

"You need to eat." She told me, handing me a slice of toast with peanut butter on.

"Thank you." I smiled before eating the toast.

Natasha drove because I was really nervous about my womb not being healthy enough. The drive to the clinic was half an hour and my nerves were only growing.

"Everything seems perfect." Our nurse, Avery, said making me let out a relieved chuckle. "You just need to wait for your period so you can to the injection. It does hurt but I will all be worth it."

"I think my period is coming in, like, three weeks." I guessed and she nodded.

She taught us how to do the injection and it looked a little painful. "Ok, call the clinic once you get your period and do the first injection. Tell them to tell me you've started the injections. I will set an appointment up for two weeks after that." She explained making a Natasha and I nod.

"Can I ask, what do the injections do?" I asked.

"The injections suppress your cycle. Once your cycle is suppressed you take a fertility hormone called follicle stimulating hormone, FSH for short. FSH increases the number of eggs your ovaries produce. This means more eggs can be collected and fertilised. The more eggs, the more chance of you becoming pregnant. While doing the injections you'll have to come to the clinic for a few vaginal ultrasounds so we can monitor your ovaries. Before your egg collection you'll have an injection of a hormone called human chorionic gonadotrophin, hCG for short, that helps your eggs to mature." Avery explained and Natasha gave my hand a reassuring squeeze. "I will order the injections to your home, they should arrive in 3-4 days. Keep them in the fridge."

"How long does the egg collection take?" Natasha questioned after grinning at me.

"Oh, it's only a minor procedure. It will take no longer than 20 minutes. Oriana, you'll be sedated and your eggs will be collected using a needle that's passed through your vagina and into each ovary under ultrasound guidance. Some women experience cramps or a small amount of vaginal bleeding after the collection. I have to warn you Oriana, with you being a super-soldier your pregnancy symptoms will be horrendous. Back pain might make you unable to walk, ect." Avery stated and I nodded, I was slightly nervous about being sedated even though I know Dreykov is gone.

"Great." I groaned about the pregnancy symptom part.

"You have an amazing wife," She assured me looking over at Natasha. "I know you're in great hands. Some women who I see, I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving them with their partners if I knew they were going to experience such intense symptoms." Natasha and I both grinned at each other before smiling at Avery.

"Ok I think that about covers it, so see you guys soon." She stated.

"Thank you." Natasha and I both said at the same time.

"It's ok, I can't wait to see you two through your ivf and pregnancy journey." Avery grinned as we all walked out into the hallway.

"See you soon." I replied while waving at her and Natasha and I walked out the clinic.

As soon as we got in the car we both burst into happy tears and the car was full of laughter. "It's happening we're gonna have a baby, Tasha." I cried on her shoulder.

"We gonna have a fucking baby." She chuckled through tears.

After a little more happy tears she drove us home and we cuddled on the sofa with Birdy. Both of us couldn't get the smile off our faces.

"I think we should tell Yuliya before the injections arrive." I said and Natasha nodded.

"Dinner tonight?" She suggested and I nodded.

We watched a movie and halfway through I got a text from Yuliya saying she was walking home with her friend Mj. I said it was ok and that Natasha and I needed to talk to her at dinner.

"Birdy, you're gonna be a big brother." I told the cat while holding him up like simba.

The cat meowed in response making me laugh. "Do you want to help with dinner?" Natasha asked and I nodded.

Me helping with dinner always meant sitting in the kitchen and watching Natasha make dinner. I hopped onto the counter and watched her make spaghetti bolognese.

There was a knock on the door. "I'll get it." I said, getting off the counter and giving Natasha a kiss on the cheek before opening the door.

As soon as I saw who it was everything went black.
