I wake up troubled from last night

my head hurts a little I couldn't get proper sleep ever since I woke up from the....nightmare....slash safe? Dream

I can't tell anymore there was a moment where I felt so safe in this person's arms...and then seconds after am being traumatised,

Am so caught up with this dream I forgot the water that was boiling "Shit shit shit!" I aggressively get off my chair making my way to the stove

"Alice? You ok?"
I turn around "Morning mother" I smile at her then turn my attention back to the stove "is everything alright?" Her voice spoke again

"Uh yeah...everything's fine just a little tired"

"What happend there?"
She looks at the pan with water

"Oh well uh I kind of forgot it on the stove" I laugh

"You okay?" She touches my shoulder and we make our way on the chair
"Just woke up troubled from this dream I had last night.."

"Dream?..was it a nightmare?"

"It was but it wasn't I don't know how to tell you..it was like me and this boy were trying to break something or fix or take down I...."

She touches my hand as a sign to calm down I then inhale thinking of my next words "It was scary because that person was depending everything on me..and all the pressure was on me but I didnt know what to do and then..."

I stop,The image rushes through my head and the way my body was less tensed as the boy held me

"Then..a boy came he held me and said that I was powerful enough to do it and that made me feel better..I didn't want to leave his presence".

I finish telling her my dream and she stays in silence for a few seconds scanning me "Alice honey I don't know what to tell you but it can be a message..as you know you haven't had your blue mark yet"

She's technically right....the blue mark is a mark everybody has gotten except for me it's a mark that's popular in our  town,it shows what power you shall receive when your the age of 18 it appears on you at 15 and then you receive your powers at 18..its something  beautiful and very valuable I wonder when mine will appear..its already been 3 years this is testing my faith real bad

"I know ma but what can a dream like this possibly mean?" I slid my hands down my head before sighting,
"Well am going out for some vegetable-picking"

"Okay" I nod my head "do you want to come along?"

"am gonna wait for tia maybe later we can do something"

"Alright make sure to take care of yourself okay?" She raises her eyebrows to me as a demanding sign before making her way upstairs to grab her coat.

A knock causes me to throw my attention to the door "Alice?" I hear Tias voice,"Hey" I smile and let her in

"So how are you?" She says as she places herself on the chair "Uh well..just a bit worn out from last night"

"The running?"

"No just some nightmare I had"

"Nightmare? God sorry that happend nightmares are the worst..do you want to go eat something maybe it can take your head off these things?"

"I guess..but I don't really have enough money"

"That's fine I think I might have enough" she smiles and we leave.

"wanna go look at the rainbow first?"

"There's a rainbow?"

"Yeah it rained all morning and now a rainbow came out"
