Chapter 6

"Where's your father silas?"
Louis grabs a glass of cranberry juice of the table "Good evening everyone"
My one and only father makes his way over to us placing himself on one of the couches across me

"So today is a big day huh.."
Isabel smiles touching her daughters leg..

What have you done now father

"Would you like to explain or should I?" Louis looks over to my father

"No no be my guest go on"
He signs with his hand for Louis to start

"Well you both are grown ups now..and I think the time has come where you guys should start a life together"

"Together?" I smile as to how stupid this is "silas,let him talk" the fire in my dad's eyes is rising

"So as you know you're the future king of this whole town and before you become king you need to have your own family son"
Louis looks determined

"When will the engagement be exactly?" those words fell of isabels mouth like a feather touches the floor

"Sorry engagement?"
I look over to Evan

I can do a staring contest all day with this man.

"Now I think you all have misunderstood" I put my hands together 

"Sorry?"
Isabels reaction changed

"Davinda and I are great friends we have known each other since childhood but am afraid thats all there is going on,who ever told you all this is something more...am afraid is wrong I have boundaries i cannot cross"

"What?"
Isabel is more offended then ever and I can see Louise's expressions change

"Silas!" father places his cup aggressively on the table giving me the death stare to stop talking "I have already said it once father you cannot force someone to marry someone they don't love...that's not how marriage works"

The room is filled with tension and about to explode but I could give a f*** about what he says

"Why do..you not like my daughter?"
Isabel holds davindas hand as a tear drops down her pale cheek

"Well the truth is...I do not like her more then a friend there is someone else that I have had in plan to marry"

"Excuse me?" Father's voice spoke stiff   "Oh..." Louis adds as he straightens his back "Am sorry if you all misunderstood" I close my eyes trying to fight the anger hitting my chest

"Someone else? Well our sincere apologies we did not know"
Isabel smiles slightly before giving my father an execrable look,

"Well I guess we should be on our way now.." Louis gets up "listern am..so sorry for the misunderstanding" my father adds thinking it can fix everything even though he knew exactly what he was doing.

I watch them leave disappearing around the corner before the door got slammed,father scoffs his hands resting above his hips

"Someone else to marry!?"
He looks at me trying to dig into my thoughts "Now silas your more of a genius then I thought...you really know how to lie your way out"
His footsteps echoed in the air as he walked towards me

"Like father like son huh?" I add
My stare was exasperated my figure being taller then him

"You messed up several times today...how much longer do you think this can go?" His eyes were calm yet deceiving to kill me,and just like that he walks pass me leaving me and my anger trying to hold it together.

What am I suppose to do now..everybody thinks am marrying someone already,for f**** sake

I clench my draw line lifting my head up to the ceiling,a deep sight leaves my mouth and am walking towards outside.
